For some reason, and incorrectly, I always thought this was a Jeff Beck track.
I'd seen him cover it and thought it was his...I now know it's not his.
Thanks guys, I love this site ! -
chris_b now that a great riff, love the track and I never knew he was on bass.

crez5150 thanks for that. I see they have the DVD for £8 on AMAZON. Think I'll take a punt on this one. Oh and there's nothing wrong with a bit of facial hair, ask Lee
Crazykiwi 1 week? Now that takes so doing. -
Anyone know of any DVD / Video I can buy that has Leland Sklar on bass duties. He is one hard dude to track down for such a great talent.

Nice one, checking out a bass player, and I've found a drummer will supreme taste and feel. Cheers guys !

Thanks for the heads up. Some nice stuff for me to take a listen to...That video shows a real tight rhythm section.
Abe Laboriel Jr, he related to the great bassist Abe Laboriel? -
If i wanted to hear this guy, Leland Skylar, at his best what you recommend?
I am interested in his sound over the years, and his best grooves. So what would you advise I listen to from his massive catalogue to hear him at his best? -
I was just about to post on this. Yes they are all gone now.

That's fine, but it will be a fair weight for all of these. I'll stick them on a set of scales later.

Always take it to every gig, and then make my choice then as to use it or not.
Wooden floors or hollow stages are a nightmare without this clever piece of kit. -
...and the weight?
-
Nice insight into this technique. Thanks
