Bought the 3 band version two days ago, it arrived today, and is now in my bass. First impressions are quite good. Sound OK and 'it does what is says on he tin'...I had to replace my EMG active circuit as it had developed a fault. The replacement from EMG was going to cost £169, so this Artec 3 band at £36 was a steal.
Only problem I have is with the black knobs for the controls. I have two EMG black plastic and two black metal concentric knobs....Does anyone know where I can get two more of the ARTEC black metal knobs so they all match on my bass? -
Ah a template sound like a better idea....Thanks
EDIT: just to save others searching

OK 3- band. I'll see how it goes.

And any ideas on where to mark the side of the board, if there are no marks present now....Please don't give me some mathematical equation to work this out

Artec - Anyone use one of their internal active preamps?
They look too good to be true for the money.
It's real hard to find any reviews on them. I'm interested in any comments good or bad. -
Chienmortbb that second link is 404, and chance of a re post of it?

Yeah good question...I maybe interested, after a listen to some sounds.

Always have done this....Saves loads of PMs asking it is it gone
I thought it was already up as a sticky: http://basschat.co.u...tuff-from-sale/ ??? -
Yeah I love his 'wild dog treble' sound, as he describes it. I thought it fit perfectly, and yeah great player too.

FS: Ibanez CF7 Chorus + Flanger pedal
Both effects in one pedal, switchable modes, and switchable between normal operation and "Krazy" versions.
Also has the nifty "push and forget" knobs that retract into the body so you can't accidentally knock them while playing!
Excellent condition, few little marks.

I bought this a few months ago and it has sat on my desk without any more use than a quick test. I'm using a multiFX pedal, so this is surplus to requirements. It needs a good home where it will get some use.

Sounds like a straight pentatonic to me.....

Really that simple, hmmm thanks Bilbo. That's more than I got
EDIT:- Ah yeah I hear it now 5 - 4 - b3 - 1 over and over. Thanks again !
And yeah it does sound like 'a stick up and down some railings' -
Hope this is in the correct section. Can anyone tell me what notes that are played at 1.24 and again at 1.36 in this piece? I've heard Stanley Clarke play similar. I just cannot work this bit out.

For a PDF manual, I see freq response is 25Hz - 3KHz

ALL MY SPARES NOW GONE GUYS.
Wow I could have got rid of a truck load of these....Do they not give you a lead with a new amp these days? -
I have a bag of these too, around 10, just goes to show how many amp changes I've had :tut:...
So if OP's have all gone, PM me and I pop one in the post, for postage cost.
