Thanks for the heads up -
Thanks for the heads up. I used to have Aja on vinyl many moons ago. I need to revisit that along with these other suggestions. It seems he's everywhere

I have obviously listened to this guy Chuck Rainey in the past. His discography is so huge I must have heard him, but I have never really taken the time and listened to him....
So where do I start? Which tracks are some of his best work to be found on?
Oh and get well soon Chuck -
After clicking on 'View New Content' and reading the forums I will scroll to bottom of page and then click ' Mark Community Read' and then 'Mark all as read' This was working fine until yesterday. Now I have 16 unread pages. No matter how many times I do this. It used to say 'no new content'
I have cleared my cache and cookies, but it is still the same.
I have noticed older posts are greyed so it seems cookies are working......But still 16 pages this never alters.
So how do I clear this? Or is it a site bug that has crept in?
MOD asked me to post this for other to see in the hope of a fix.
Thanks for your time. -
Yeah me too, count me in

If a similar price, it'll be a real bargain !
-
Yeah it looks nice...Any ideas of a price yet? I've searched and drawn a blank

Lefty playing right here too...
Although after reading the post above I am unsure now if I'm left or right handed, as I do many of those mentioned above -

Guys a Guitarist friend of mine has just put this up for sale on eBay. A Fender Vintage Reissue 57 Preicision Bass Fiesta Red (1982 Fullerton) It was offered to me a few days ago, but I am not a fender guy. I may go over to his house in the next week to have a play though.
Images and sale can be found here: http://www.ebay.co.u...em=180757333599 -

Badass, thanks too - the electronics on Alembics are mainly filter based - there's a really good explanation of controls at the link below. Take a look at Threads on Series I and II controls. The electronics are very powerful and provide a great deal of flexibility. The bass with the cocobolo top in my photographs is a SII - it's stereo which adds to the complexity - essentially, there's a volume, filter and continuously variable q for each pickup. Anniversary and signature electronics are similar but not quite so variable.

lozbass Massive thanks for the heads up. I'll be checking that link when I get home. -
I love the Alembics shown in this thread. I've always wanted one since learning Stanley Clarke had one. I got his album 'Stanley Clarke' back in 1974, and I was sold.
Still saving up I envy you guys....
Slightly off topic...Can Someone tell me why these basses often have so many knobs and switches? I think I've read about some unique filters on Alembics. What are they all for ??? -

A quote from his gear page:-

While on tour, I use a Boss GT6B for most of my effects. I also use a Boss RC 20XL or a Boss RC50 Loop pedal when I’m touring or doing clinics.
-
This one looks interesting

And finally, we have an interview with the guy in this months BGM !

Me too, looked everywhere and I cannot see an option to mark 'All read'
EDIT:
Mark Community Read
Bottom left of home page for anyone interested. -
Five was the smallest, just out numbering the band by one, and 10,000+ on support gigs, and I had a ball at both extremes. Never really bother by the crowd size, although bigger the better.
