1. Slang mode: PICS!! PICS!! Polite mode: Would you please post some pictures? Thank you!
 2.
Do you accept paypal?
Yes I do. There is somebody who should seal his interest within a couple of days, so you should be next in line, I'll keep you updated. Thanks for looking.
 3. I may be wrong, but I believe the late Edwards from Chic used to play one live. A P-J configuration is already punchier than J-J, I wonder how a P-P performs.... Nice one. Good luck!!
 4.
If I didn't already own this bass in exactly the same colour, I'd buy it right now. With the case, it's a steal. These basses really benefit from a good set-up but once they're done, they're fantastic. Forget a Mex or Jap Fender, these are much better built, nicer to play and sound a lot punchier. Actions speak louder than words and for the last three gigs, I've used my Yamaha bass like this one, leaving my Stingray at home in the cupboard.
Yep, maybe I should stick a F*nder decal on the headstock, that would attract more interest.... "Underrated" is the word for Yamahas, while they actually have a very high quality for the price.
 5. NEW PRICE introduced, please read again the modified post number 1.
 6.
Where are you located? Cheers,
Hi Tom I live near Kilmarnock (Ayrshire), south of Glasgow.
 7.
is there a big diference between gotoh and yamaha bridge? how about compare it to badass?
IMHO the strong Gotoh bridge (pictured above, around £25) is superior to the BadAss. Why? Because in the Gotoh the screws of the saddles move guided by grooves, keeping the distance between each string absolutely constant and the string in position. The Yamaha stock bridge is typical of all budget basses and, unfortunately, of Fender, as a legacy of a 40+ years old design: I have seen too many Jazz basses with the G string dangerously close to the lower edge of the fretboard (and the E string instead moved away from the edge towards the centre) as the saddles - not kept in place - slide laterally one against the next one. Sadowsky has used Gotoh bridges for years, and even the current model they use is grooved. Hope this helps
 8. Thnx Machines. In fact what can you get better than this for 200 quid shipped? Not a lot probably...
 9. Hi there Up for sale (no trades, please) is my Yamaha BB414, black. I bought it as a backup for my 1989 Stingray and to add a different tone to the arsenal, but I have never gigged it and now it is just collecting dust in my smoke-free, pet-free, kid-free (but not booze-free!!) house. It is fitted with a nice sturdier Gotoh bridge (cost £25), although the original crap*y one will be included as well in case a masochist among you wants to refit it and get rid of the Gotoh, it's up to you. Action is very low indeed although completely adjustable, as it is the trussrod. J neck profile, PJ pu configuration, vol, tone, pu switch. There are no problems whatsoever with the bass, I just do not use it anymore. A couple of superficial scratches on the back (bloody belt!!) and some very light nailmarks from slapping (like you find anyway in NEW basses tried in store as well). Very solid and well built, I still have a 1981 Ibanez from new and it looks like the Japs like their basses like tanks... It retails for £199 + delivery, without even a gigbag. NEW PRICE: I am asking for £180 SHIPPED within mainland UK (Royal Mail 1st class, there may be a few exceptions for very remote postcodes) and it comes in an ABSOLUTELY PERFECT Hiscox hard case WITH KEY (cost £60). If shipping abroad I will deduct the cost of UK shipping from actual shipping costs. As you can see I am not selling it to laugh all the way to the bank but only because it is surplus requirement. If you are looking for a GREAT passive, unexpensive, UPGRADED bass then grab yourself a bargain!! Cheers mates Claudio
