Selling my lovely Ampeg SVT4 - It has a minor scuff on the front from before i got the rack.
It is Korean made but i've never noticed a difference between that and the American one.

So £700 for it all. I will ship if required (not sure how much this will be yet) but let me know.

I need some help here.

I have an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro, Ampeg 610HLF and Hartke 1x15 XL.
I recently lost my practice space, which means it is all sitting in my garage not being used at all.

So since i'm not going to be gigging again untill Aug/September at earliest i feel like i'm wasting this rig in the garage.

Should i sell it and get something else perhaps lighter so its easier to carry to a practice space? Or should i just keep it. But in storage for the time being?

If anyone has any suggestions for what to go for let me know.

And tbh i'd rather not do a combo.

I done it a few years ago. Planet waves locking strap with an old jazz copy.
I did it both ways (head first and tail first). You just sorta have to learn to move your head down so it swings back into place.

Hurts like hell when the bass doesnt get enough force and lamps you in the head, you move up to soon and get the bass battering your kidney's or the other option is swing to hard and play catch the bass.

I wouldnt do it now.

One of the music shops up here did take ampeg in, but they're having issues with suppliers now. Bah!

How does the CL compare with the SVT2pro? anyone know?

I think i know the sound you mean - I use the OC 2 for pretty much everything i do in my band.
It seems to hate stuff like a low E. Like it for want of a better word - worbles.

What i have found works is turning down the 2nd octave a bit - also playing mid/high neck seems to make it play nice. Eg see Chris Wolstenholme from muse in Starlight/Fury etc

I'm tempted by this....

I am maybe looking to sell/trade my Ampeg SVT 4 Pro with 4U rack. It has some minor scuffs on the front panel from being heavily gigged before i got a rack (bloody car!)
I'm really wanting to make the move to full valve goodness.
Not really sure what i want - so any suggestions accepted

I think i'd be looking for 650 ono if anyone would be interested?
If i sold it But i want the valve tone so its looking likely.

I've been thinking about the SVT 2 Pro, SVT CL, SVT VR or attempting to find a mesa 400+.

Any offers anyone?

Thats what i get for posting ads while working!

It does come with the pickup - I meant the GK cable.

If i did that here makes me wonder if i messed up what i was working on.

I will now crawl into a hole for being such a dingus! haha!

Also the pickup appears to have dropped in price since i bought it. So now £70.
