7.
If there were such a thing as a "smug" smiley I'd have posted it instead of this.
There isn't? There should be, for just such a moment. Anyway, Ou7shined info is indeed correct. More info on the neck can be found here http://www.smart-distribution.co.uk/bassan...tneckshtml.html Its a gloss finish version, marks on the fingerboard consistent with use of roundwounds, other than that the bass is in top condition. Comes with a generic gig bag
  8. Trousers.... sorry about that Sun was out but I missed it, rolled out the red carpet instead And, hopefully, working links http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=599265 http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=582325
  9. Rather expensive experiment with fretless that proved I am incapable of playing them, should have started with a Squier VMJ or something, what can I say I'm a sucker for graphite. If the sun EVER gets his hat on round Liverpool again I'll get my own pics up but I dont think I can do better than the pics and descriptions that were done for the original for sale threads over yon here http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showth...hlight=modulus £650 would be lovely in my wallet thankyouplease I'm in Liverpool but work in the centre of Manchester so either location could possibly arranged for pickup type affairs, if not am sure postage can be sorted too. Thanks for looking

  13. Sold my Tribute L2500 to him, no problems at all, fast and smooth.

    SOLD

Am thinning my fleet and since I'm rubbish at 5 string this has to go first. G&L Tribute L2500 in drop dead gorgeous Blueburst over Swamp Ash Its one of the newer type with more understated Tributeness, bridge says G&L rather than Tribute etc. Excellent condition apart from these two marks caused by someone stringing it badly, I've tried to get a decent photo of the marks but it ain't easy, there are only marks at the B and A stringing positions. Freshly strung thru body with DR Hi-Beams and comes with a G&L gigbag. I'm after £385 for it, collection preferred from Liverpool or can travel to meet in the North West somewhere. Postage can be sorted at extra cost, still got the original shipping box including a highly sought after import duty sticker, thieving bastards. Pics show black strap pins, it'll have its original chrome ones on for the sale.

  18. When i stripped tha lacquer off a neck, I used wire wool (00000 grade) to give it a very smooth finish, then a small amount of danish oil to seal it, you might find that tung oil is quite thick compared to tru oil and danish oil unless you thin it down with turpentine
