  1. Just bought a G & L SB2 from Pat. Real good guy to deal with, communication with him is quick and easy, guitar was exactly as described. Postage was quick even though it was sent and delivered over Xmas and new year period and from Vienna. Guitar was very securely wrapped and boxed. I would definitely do business with Pat again.
  2. Hey guys, Just picked up a jack casady in ebony. Love the tone, playability and now its lost the cream pickguard and selector ring love the looks. Still think it would look better without the "Electar" pickup cover. but what is underneath the cover/ can the cover be removed? Anyone with any experience of this bass and its pickup, your knowledge would be graefully received. Cheers Boab

  7. Bumparoo. Not much interest, is my price a little high?
  8. Need to move this one on too. Its a Squier Body and Neck. Decent paint Job. It has Seymour Vintage P Pups and a Seymour MM Pick up. £150 Pups worth this alone.
  9. Ok I think im going to sell/trade my MIM P Bass Special Bass is in great condition. Looking for £350 or may trade for Black Jack Casady.
  10. Well, I've nearly finished my project. Just waiting on strings and a headstock decal. Does anyone know how i can easily darken the rosewood? Let me know what you think.

  14. Cool guys, i think i'll go for the dowel method. Wayne, yes this is on the P, changing to Black hardware.
  15. Hey, I want to enlarge the holes in my headstock to accept 18mm tuners. I think the holes are around 15mm at the moment. I'm thinking if i stick an 18mm drill thru, i'm going to get huge amounts of "tearout". Whats the best method to avoid this? Cheers
  16. Hey all, I have recently bought a G&L L2000 from a fellow bc'er. It is in a natural finish, but will be going in for a oly white refin soon. I think the bass would look sweet with a scratchplate. So my question is... How do i go about creating a scratchplate for a bass which never came with a scratchplate? Has anyone done this before?
  17. Don't think this even exists, so stretching the rules a little. An Oly White Sterling HS, rosewood board bound and blocked. Or A Bass Version of a white les paul custom.
  18. A Mike Mills Precision would work for me, I love that butterscotch blonde look. What about a reverse necked P as played by the singer from the doves.
  19. Pretty much anything Leo Fender was involved with lights my candle, In certain colours. Although I do love the look of a Les Paul Bass
