There you go. Bass sound is the alpher and the Geddi lee rack thing with the channels merged.

Fantastic. Thanks for sharing. I love hearing new tunes, and hearing what fellow BC’ers are doing ☺️

Just officially became a spector endorsee and ordered a Violet fade Euro 5 LT, coming on Friday! Very excited. Never thought I would go for that colour but it very much grew on me with the gold hardware.

May I ask the name of the band you are in please? Always interested to hear Bc members music. Cheers 🫡

  3. Evening all. Just finished communicating with Will, who I have to say, has gone above and beyond this evening. Even until this time when the shop is closed, Will has been talking to me about the bass I have on consignment with him. The long and short of it is, Will has agreed to buy the bass off me for very close to what I was hoping for in order for me to finalise some plans that the sale of this bass was set out to secure. The money was also in my account, tonight, within 5 minutes of agreeing the deal. Amazing.

I am ever so grateful for his help and for his open, honest and friendly communications. The deal was done with absolutely no hassles. I have no hesitation in dealing with Will and Bass Bros in the future, and if you have any thing you want to buy, sell or part ex, you can deal without any worry, I promise you.

Isn’t the bass community great. It’s alive and kicking, and we really are a lucky bunch. Thanks Will and Bass Bros 🙏🏻

  4. That purple is amazing, and being a sucker for a purple bass, I was drawn in immediately. I just saw the price points, and in today’s market place, they are more than reasonably priced, but I’d rather pick up a 2nd hand Euro LX. Just my opinion, but these new HP’s look and sound amazing from the videos I’ve seen so far. Well done Spector

Ahh yes - I think most Euros LX are 9lb+, and the USA stuff can be very heavy (relatively speaking!!). Are the RSTs chambered or just well chosen woods?

My US Forte 4 is definitely lighter than my LX4. I’d say my LX4 is around 9lbs and my Forte at around 8lbs, and maybe even a little lighter.

    They are OK.

Sold me a bass that was massivley mis described but we eventually came to an agreement on it.

They did the same with me, which disappointed me, but I just sent it back without a fuss. Will was great about it. They ended up selling it eventually. I do have a bass on consignment with them at the moment, so let’s see how that process goes. All good though. Easy to deal with.

  7. After much toing and froing, this beautiful bass is just not for me. I bought it to modify and to see if Jazz basses were my thing. Though I enjoy it, my bass heart lies elsewhere.

This is fully set up, in immaculate condition (no dings, dents or scratches) with upgraded Fender bridge, Fender knobs, custom mirror scratch plate and a new set of LaBella 45-105 stainless steel strings. The neck is true and straight, with a lovely low action. This plays and sounds amazingly well.

No trades please, and because it doesn’t have a case, I unfortunately cannot post. Collection from Penarth (just outside Cardiff) is preferred, and please bring a case or gig bag. I can also meet within a 25 mile radius of Cardiff. The bass will be transported in a gig bag that I own, and will not be included in the sale.

Grab a beautiful bass while you can. The Vintage Modified basses were spot on, and in my opinion, so much better than the current Classic Vibe range.

    Cheers
