1.
fancy this?

    http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=98948
Thanks for the offer BT!, in a few weeks I might be interested but right now I am just looking for a sale

  2. I have my Fender Geddy Lee up for sale on this site here.

It has a couple of gashes in the paintwork that go down to the bare wood, I have got as far as levelling the holes up with black nail polish, but dont want to go any further for fear of doing even worse damage to the finish.

Can you anybody recommend anybody in Suffolk/North Essex that could undertake this type of repair?

    Cheers

  3.
Wasn't someone on this forum selling one of these after realising that he'd jumped the gun a bit by buying one for his yet unborn child?
That was me, and he arrived into the world 7:18am yesterday morning.

I managed to sell my Tanglewood on Ebay last week.

  4. Withdrawn

I am only selling it because I am trying to reduce my bass collection.

Since the last listing I got my local guitar repair person to fix a couple of marks on the sides of the lower half of the bass, they have been made level and now just need polishing up.
The two picture show the original marks, I will post further pics of the repairs tonight.

I will get some pictures of the repair added to the listing tonight.

  5. As the title says I am selling off my Tecamp 210 combo.

Whilst it is a great combo and sounds fantastic, it is being wasted, it is only used to play at home so I am the only one who gets to hear it. I am also selling it to save a bit of space, my first baby has arrived and the computer/music room has been taken as a nursery. I have been relegated to a corner of the lounge.

Tecamp say the following about this combo:

The Puma combo 210 is fitted with newly designed TecAmp 10” bass speaker chassis that work in meticulously calibrated enclosures to deliver expanded low end. The combos feature the new NTM-1 middle-high cone speaker with a Neodymium double magnet system. Working in a sealed enclosure it impresses with a low roll-off frequency and a very flat frequency response, thus delivering a smooth top end far beyond 10 kHz at astounding sound pressure levels.

Every Puma combo boasts an external Speakon® output for the connection of an additional speaker cabinet. The handle on top and the castors at the Puma combo 210 allow an easy handling.

    They also say this:

    Model: Puma Combo 210
    Configuration: 2 x 10” TecAmp LE10-65 4 ohms
Preamp: solid state preamp with gain, taste, lo, lomid, himid, hi, master controls, switchable mute, DI pre/post, XLR balanced DI out, 1 x effects loop, tuner out, line out, line in
    Power Amp: Class D amplifier, 320 w; 500 w / 4 ohms
    Power supply: switching power supply
Cooling: high quality temperature controlled fan
Tweeter: 1 x NTM-1 hi-mid speaker with double Neodym magnet system 4” cone
    Freq. Response: 42-19.000 Hz
    Dimensions (W x H x D): 44 x 65 x 41 cm; 17” x 25,5” x 16”
    Weight: 20,5 kg / 46 lbs

The combo itself is in excellent condition, no marks on it as it has not left the house. I also have the owners manaual that came with it.

I am based in Ipswich, Suffolk and am looking for £525 pick up only. If you need anymore pictures or information let me know.

    Cheers

  6.
Price is not an easy one for tecamp, especially after the guitarguitar sale.

When i needed the money I put my 1x12 combo up here asking £500, I had a lot of interest and 3 definate 'will buy's, but then no longer needed the money and withdrew it. The 2x10 is obviously bigger and has the next amp up in it if i'm not mistaken? Also I think eubassix sold one recently?
Yes, I saw that eubassix had one up for sale here recently, out of courtesy to him (didnt want to start a price war) and the fact that I was undecided I held off putting mine up.

I am thinking £650 pickup or £670 delivered at the moment, guess I just need to decide what I am going to do by tonight and I can then decide whether to list it on here or shut the hell up about it :)

    Thanks for your help

  7. Withdrawn from here, moved it on to ebay

If no response there I can leave it in the loft for when it might be needed.

  8.
i think at some point you there will be a brief moment where you go 'huh, shoulda kept that thing'. But then the at the moment it does look surplus to requirements and selling it will benifit you now. And if it's a couple of years before the need arises for something larger, i'm sure there will be something nice for sale that you can buy then.
Thats kind of where I am at, thinking that when I am in a position where I want to gig I can find something suitable then.

I think it was another of the purchases made as a supposed shortcut to learning (if I buy this I will improve my playing tenfold).

I will have a think about it, perhaps put it up on here later this week.

The only thing then is setting the right price, these tend not to come onto eBay and they are on here infrequently.

  9. We are expecting our first child on the 6th August and the spare room which was the office/guitar room is now the nursery, so I am downsizing, my stuff and I am considering selling my Tecamp 210 combo as part of this process and using my Line6 110 instead.

It’s a win-win if I do sell it as it raises much needed monies for Baby supplies and my ‘rig’ takes up less space in the lounge.

I started playing about 16 months ago and really enjoy it, I try and play most days, but ultimately I am my only audience, I am not in a band and don’t do gigs.

I think that as lovely as it is the Tecamp is overkill for my needs, do you think I will regret selling the Tecamp?

  10. I am selling this Korg Kaossilator Pro as I really dont use it much anymore, I used to use it as a drum machine/metronome, but it can do so much more than that, see the Korg page here.

Dont know if it helps, but thought I would add some moving images, showing what it does:

It is in almost mint conditionon, probably used it for no more than an hour in total, if that. It comes with all the original packaging, paperwork and the PSU.

Looking for £230 delivered, one sold on eBay in similar condition for £260 delivererd

  11. I am selling my DD7 Boss Delay pedal, I bought it a few months ago to sit in front of my EHX Bass Synth pedal.

However since buying it I have only used it for about 5-10 minutes when I first bought it and having just sold (pending) my EHX Bass Synth pedal, I think this might as well go too.

The pedal is in A1 condition, as mentioned it was used at home briefly during which time it was set on top of my amp and used by hand only, since that time it has been stored in the original box with all paperwork, everything is included and in A1 condition.

The Boss product page is here

I am looking for £85 delivered by Special Delivery, payment via Bank Transfer.

    Thanks

  12. This auction is for my Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Synth, it is as new, totally complete.

It includes the original box, paperwork(including unused warranty card), PSU and packaging.

It has probably only had a couple of hours use at most, and during that time I have used it only by hand, no dirty boot marks on this pedal!

I am only selling this pedal because I don't use it, I only play at home and I am happy going straight into an amp, no effects,I don't think I am an effects person (can I say that :) )

I notice that one in worse condition than mine sold for £130, so I am setting the price for this at [s]£130 [/s] £110 delivered, priced to sell.

If you need any more info or pictures please let me know.

  13.
I've got to ask, have you actually amplified this thing? And if so, how does it sound and play?
Yeah, I briefly put it through my line6 110 when I first got it. I personally like the profile, size and weight of it, but then I love the neck on my Geddy Lee so thin necks are fine by me.

In terms of sound I didnt do much with it in terms of fiddling with the tone and the volume on it, but it sounds suprisingly good for what is a childs bass. I do find it awkward describing a bass sound but I think its a passable Precision style.

  14. On the 9th June 2010 I purchased a EB18 bass guitar, listing for the auction can be found HERE.

I bought it for my son, however it was a slightly impulsive purchase as he is not due for arrival on this earth until 6th August 2010! As a result it seems likely that this may not get use for a good view years yet, so I might as well move it on.

The other factor in buying this rather than wait is that this is the mahogany version of the EB18 which is not seen that often.

The bass is in mint condition from when I bought it, I have used it for only a couple of minutes, to prove that all was in working order. The only thing to note is that the bass has some slight/surface indentations in the wood under the varnish on the back of the bass body, which was there when I bought it, I have taken pictures of the back of the bass, but they have not shown up on the picture. The bass comes with the original canvas gigbag.

Priced to sell at £79 delivered

    Cheers

    Mike
