    Hi, I see you're based in Devon, so a trip to Mansons in Exeter may get it sorted. They will do most things, (depending on budget of course). Whenever I've asked about mods or having anything built, Hugh Manson's response is 'you hum it, I'll build it'. Looking at some of his creations I think this rings true!

    Just taken delivery of my new Pedulla rapture j2 fretless, awsome, will be gigging it this weekend cos I bought it to play it, not hang it on the wall and look at it. Never spent this much on an instrument before but I knew i'd get exactly what I wanted, and just as I thought, it delivers. I'm hoping this will see me through till I can no longer carry on playing, but you never know when the next attack of gas might creep up on you!

    I've had a fretless one of these from new and it's still gigged regularly, a bit beaten up and roadworn now, but sounds and plays fantastic. I was also lucky enough to pick up a fretted one from Mansons shop a couple of years ago, which apears to have had hardly any use, and the sound can best be described as HUGE! Hugh Manson builds really good guitars and you'd be looking at about 3K+ for a new one. For anyone who wants a quality British luthier bass I rekon this is worth a look.

    Hi all, I also get frustrated with my 2 band Stingray, love gigging it but cant quite get it to sound the way I want, so usually end up taking something else! I was wondering if one of those Status graphite necks might sort it out? Any ideas/opinions?
