Auralex Great Gramma

For sale is my desperately under used, and almost immaculate and new, Auralex Great Gramma. I ended up getting one as a gift (long story) and it is a bit indulgent having one at the studio and one at home especially as I am very skint, so I am putting one up for sale. It still has its box and apart from a tiny bt of fluff from the 2-3 times I have used it at home it is perfect. This is the bigger pad so there is plenty of room for a 4x10 cab and it will take some hefty weight as well (my EBS isnt that light). It does what it says, brilliant for boomy stages and gives you a lot more clarity from your rig. Just seen them for £76 +postage on Dolphin Music so lets say £60. More than welcome to pickup from Cheltenham and happy to post but I will need to get a proper quote before I post as I recently posted a Wii Fit that cost a fortune to send. Will get some pictures up tomorrow if anyone needs to see it, I have good feedback on here so buy with confidence. Nathan

You should have a look at jam tracks for bass, think they are on itunes and there is a website too. Good quality and good to just jam along to and make up your own lines. Also if you trying to find a specific tune my trick is go to youtube and type: name of song followed by "bass" found everthing I have needed that way. Some show you and break it down but most of the time its just as easy to watch someone play a tune.

I have the fiesta red precision and its not pink at all IMHO. If you get some really bright light on mine it looks a little paler but it is red. I love it and have had some really nice comments about it. Fretwork, build and general finish on mine is flawless, just incredible, In fact considerably better than my 2010 Fender USA Jazz. Its great to play, nice small frets and great sound, its also nice and light. I use it exclusively for my soul band and most of my pop band over my Stingray 5. They are superb basses, not just great for the money either, I have played worse basses at triple the price and more. The Jazz is also incredibly good, nice growl on the back pickup and a nice neck profile. Too thin for me though which is why I went for the precision (and because I wanted to look like Pino)

Hello, I have a brand new M-Audio Midisport Uno 1-In/1-Out USB Bus-Powered MIDI Interface, still in sealed packaging. I bought it for a project that never took off and it has just been on my shelf since. M-Audio so you know it will be good. Link to M-audio Site: http://www.m-audio.c.../en_us/Uno.html Found it online for £35 with delivery, how about £25?

I know he is famously known for playing a P Bass with a J neck but seem to remember reading an interview years ago where he said the J neck was an accident and he actually wasnt that keen on it.

wow thats a bit bonkers,a fake youtube site, how odd. Cheers for embedding it though, how do you do that?

I found this on youtube, Beverley Knight doing Cuddly Toy soul style. What a stomper of a tune just played along about 8 times, put a massive smile on my face, what a voice, shame she has never got the credit she deserves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjgF-9WryAg

I will be really interested in trying one of these but I have to say that I am slightly dissapointed with the looks and power (unless this does produce some serious db from the wattage). It doesnt look that small either, bigger than a Markbass LM or a TC judging by the pictures. I am sure it will be superb and I am a massive EBS fanboy but just feel a little underwhelmed, 500w at 4ohm, a bit smaller and a bit of chrome like on the fafner and i would be queing for one.

NOT GREAT NEW BASS DAY - EBMM Ray HH Matching Headstock
NJE replied to Musicman20's topic in Bass Guitars
I really feel for you, there are no excuses for that kind of finish at that price. Actually at any price point that is not acceptable, I have recently aquired a CV Precision and the execution of finish and neck pockets ect is flawless. Sadly I cannot say the same of various mass produced American made basses costing four times as much. My Stingray V is very good but I have seen some shockers. I hope you get it resolved, sounded like a belter of a bass too, lovely colour choice. -

Just a quick note as I really believe when a business or company does a good job they should be praised. Last Wednesday I ordered a set of Elixirs from stringbusters who came out cheaper than strings direct, cheap postage and they ship them out straight away by first class, brilliant i will have them for the gig on Saturday. By Monday they still hadn't arrived which I though for first class was a bit odd. I emailed them Tuesday and got a reply straight away saying I should have had them by now, but royal mail do say in their terms and conditions to allow up to 16 days I believe. They asked if I would see if they arrived by Thursday and if not to email back and another set would be shipped out. Thursday came and no strings so I emailed and they had another set packaged up ready to go and they would be sent out. So its 10:30 on Friday and the strings just came through the door and I am so pleased. What a great service, the Post Office have obviously lost/destroyed/stolen them and Stringbusters without a second thought have made sure the customer is satisfied despite them not being at fault and at a cost to themselves. Well done Stringbusters.

Thanks for all of the PMs some really nice and tempting offers but nothing has stuck yet.
Hi, would you be interested in a Warwick Thumb BO (5 str)? https://picasaweb.google.com/10657284609143...485080458007970 Cheers Marco
Thanks for the offer but I am not a big fan of Thumbs, much more of a Streamer man.

Same song that has been posted but a video I have not seen before. Some nice shots of Pino and his Ashdown/Epifani rig. The man is a legend and I want a bass just like his. http://youtu.be/YfLkO3uwBlQ
