  1. yeah, i've transferred a lot of money with them recently and they're obviously wanting a bigger cut of it via premium/business account. ANYWAY, on a good note I posted the amp today, via parcelforce 48 insured up to £500 - i've pm'd you tracking fede. The case is uber hefty so it will be fine. Good times. It cost me £43 to do so though, which i seriously didn't budget for in the selling price. Bad times.
  2. Anyway, i'm going to be trying my utmost to ship the head out today - It is going to be shipped to Mike in Surrey. That is at the request of fede, whom i've just got off of the phone with. Paypal should be happy enough as long as they see fede's name on the address, so heres hoping.
  3. It is quite annoying not being able to access the money. Usually i'd wait until the money is in my bank account before i ship something out, but i'll make an exception in this case, given the circumstances If paypal ask any questions, i'll put them in touch with you, to prove i'm not a money launderer I'll try my best to ship the head out tomorrow, to the address you sent me fede. Unfortunately i'll probably be forced to ship it via parcelforce but given the hefty fine rack case, it should be safe enough. PS - Remember you still owe me paypal fees!
  4. This head is still in my possession at the moment. Let me set the picture for you: fede bought the head off of me and paid promptly via paypal. This transaction however put me over my limit on paypal, so they froze my account - i can't do anything, no money in or out - nothing. Now they're wanting me to supply them with a shed load of info, which i have now done - all but one piece. That is the tracking number for the bass amp. I'm going to discuss this matter with fede asap and we'll hopefully get something arranged.
  5. I've got a good 1000 and odd posts over at TB and been a member age. Although i agree with the sentiment that the guys on here just seem more genuine and there isn't as much of an e-penis factor on here as there is on TB, which is always a plus It has it's merits, as does here i'm happy i have the choice more than anything
  6. Guitar is too prominent, it might be as simple as merely turning it down! The bass drum needs to be tighter, at parts (namely the start) it sounds reminiscent of a deflated basketball, but then again at other parts when it is buried in the mix under a lot of tones, it doesn't sound THAT bad. All in all, not a bad attempt at all The bass guitar tone is quite good actually, if you improve the bass drum sound then i'm sure both will compliment each other well.
  7. Aye i'm not a fan of Rikki's, i practice just round the corner and in the years i've done that i've never taken a notion to go in, after the first time.
  8. I really like it, not exactly what i'd listen to on a regular basis, not currently anyway, but it is pretty cool. Vocals could be a bit stronger, but i'm just being picky because otherwise a cool sound
  9. I always feel very awkward in some shops, i'm just made to feel like i'm not wanted there because they don't think i'm buying anything. Some of the guys are decent some are just arseholes, what can you do.
  10. I'll just be keeping this now, i played with it again tonight and... i just cannot part with it, even if i do have bugger all money Mods please close.
  11. Cheers guys, i always appreciate the comments As i said i'm open to offer but wouldn't like to deviate much from my figure of £500. If i can answer any questions please don't hesitate to ask
  12. You're both quite correct, it is a lovely piece (hence feeler) i'm just feeling a merciless squeeze on my wallet right now
  13. Hey folks, It is with regret that i am considering selling this fine amp. I am feeling the christmas squeeze, so it looks like this must go I'll start by saying it is in very good condition, it has had minimal use and never been gigged. It will have some scratches on the top from being in and out of my rack. I'll copy and paste the tech specs as per H&K's website: Power - 650 Watts @ 4 Ohms 1010 Watts @ 2 Ohms Poweramp - Dynaclip Preamp - TubeTouch Effects Loop - serial MIDI - optional MSM-1 Switching Functions - EQ on/off, A, B Notch Filter - Yes Headphones - Yes Equalizer - 2-Band Varimetric A/B + Hi/Lo Bands Tubes - 1x 12AX7 Speaker Outputs - 4-8 Ohms Speakon, 1x XLR parallel Dimensions - 19 Weight - 18,5 kg/41 lbs This is a very high end amp, it still retails for around £1300 on Thomann. I'll include a 4U rack by Wilkes. Looking for £500 O.N.O. Cheers for looking, Jamie
