Does anyone know what size allen key fits the badass 2 please?
I have about 60 and none of them fit. It IS allen I suppose? My eyesight isn't brilliant close up.

Hi Pete, yes it does, It's too much for me being old. I bought it not understanding the subtlties of tone and TBH a Precision has as much tone as I probably need.

I came to bass from being a lifelong 12 string guitar player and the culture shock was big. I thought that if I had all these controls I'd find something I liked but it didn't work like that because I'm not good enough to appreciate the finer points of bass playing.
This is no reflection on the Varitone.

It is as new and functions perfectly. Just screw your pickup & earth wires in and that's it! Huge range of tones.

Could I have a bit of amp advice please.
I've acquired through a deal with other stuff an Ashdown rig, quite old. It's a C115-200 combo and a matching cab, both are 1x15". The cab is a blue line.

Can't find much out about them and I want to move them on asap. How much would you think they are worth?
All in good working order.

I don't want to put it up for sale without an idea of its value, ie' offers, or I will probably be taken outside and shot.

Morning all, having just bought a very nice Gibson SG bass, I find the strings dull and unresponsive.

Can anyone recommend good strings and a source of supply for them please?

This may sound a silly question but I've searched and I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Are they just short scale? Will any short scale do?
