Hi all. I have one of these famed and much loved, holy grail of bass distortion pedals for sale, £180 delivered to your door (uk only) Mint condition, still with original box etc.. The only reason for sale is I just replaced my amp with a Mesa Big Block which has a monster overdrive channel so this will now be, [i]effectively,[/i] redundant. (see what i did there....I'll get me coat ) Having computer trouble currently so no pics yet sadly, unless you pm me your mobile numder and I could text you a rough pic for what it's worth..? Action and Pickup output are pretty personal/non scientific measures..... Action is good for me, pretty low, would go lower I imagine. Usual Jazz output difference between two pick ups more output overall to my ears/mind/memory than my old 73 Fender Jazz if that helps? Shielding I don't know, never looked, Its passive so obviously not as much of an issue as if it were active. Under really heavy distortion there is some noise but not what you would call unusual. Hi again, Part:3 of my sell some gear mission: This is a lovely late 70's/early eighties Tokai Jazz sound. Great little bass, It plays and sounds better than most of the Fender jazzes that I have had anyway. It has a fair few knocks and dings here and there and I don't think that this is the original bridge but it is a super cool looking and great sounding, highly gig-able bass. Comes with a pretty bog standard gig bag, so you may want to send a case or come and pick it up. Will obviously reduce price for pick up. Cheers for looking. ..... Part 2 of my gear rationalisation program: I have put this up before and changed my mind but this time she has to go, a real workhorse of a bass. This bass is heavy at 11lbs, but plays like a dream and sounds like the sort of bass that Flea would love! This started as a 1988 Sabre and the body and electrics are all original. Status neck and G&L bridge fitted and modified by me as part of a really great fun project. It has a few small knocks and dents here and there but is in pretty good order for its age. Comes with a really good Gigbag, spare pickguard, DR Neons and a temperamental 3 way switch!.... which does work with a wiggle but probably wants replacing (It is always 100% fine on the back pickup which is what sounds best anyway) No Trades.
