    Problem with trying cabs is that you can't really try them under gig conditions and volumes. I have a Genz NeoX212 and love it to bits, does everything I need it too !     You need to upload pix and you maybe need to look at the price of the bass slightly If you end up with £300-400 you can rush out and buy an acoustic of your choice before you leave for Italia ! ... or bang it on Ebay
