  1. I didn’t know they made JMJ’s in Japan unless it’s a typo? Does sound ace though!!
  2. Pleased you took the plunge and got a JMJ, I can't see you moving it on anytime soon if ever, they feel like a workhorse just like a Precision. It looks the part too. Not weighed mine but it's not the lightest shorty I have either, if you get the SS bug maybe look at a Lionel at some point, although they are a lot thinner on the ground than the JMJ Mustang .... Have fun and enjoy!

  4. Aaah thought it was, I saw a pic of you at Glastonbudget last year it's unique so you'll never see another like it !! Rock on Dude from Jeff Leopard \m/
  5. ello Lozz, I also have a Sandberg Lionel aka Larry, (not sure they do a Superlight), it's a superb bass in every way, fit, finish, feel is second to none Punchy and articulate, you really couldn't go wrong. I can check it's weight. As you know I also have a JMJ Mustang which is just great too! @Osirismight want to chip in ...
  6. Top bit of kit, hard to find due to small numbers produced, I nearly sold mine in a moment of madness but managed to come to my senses! They play like a dream and sit in the mix so well, quality bass GLWTS !! @Bunion What is the Gator bag? is it bass or guitar size?
  7. Wow still here!! This is a steal, a superb short scale with active on tap GLWTS !
  8. Had one of these and if you want a punchy, articulate shorty, bags of tones, this is an excellent bass, bargain too !!
  9. A black JMJ would be the nuts I guarantee it!! Sits perfectly in the mix. Didn’t you try my JMJ ?
  10. Sooooo how’s it sound, passive vs active? I’m happy with my passive version but that mod does look easy and very tempting!
  11. I put a solid jazz pup cover on my Performer and think it blends in and looks a lot better in my opinion…
  12. Never before has there been such excitement and antici..............pation for a £199 bass guitar !!
  13. Guess it depends what works for you, I can sing and pitch my backing vocals much much better with my IEM's we have a totally silent stage with everyone using Helix, Pod Go or similar, drums are Roland electric, we do have a sub and top at the rear so I get enough back from that, the FoH as well as my in ears to keep me happy and still happy with my U4 also no clashes with my bass wireless
  14. Spectacular bass, all of the EBMM Short Scales are like hens teeth to find so if you want one there’s a hen missing a tooth somewhere!! I had a funny moment a while back and nearly sold my Starry Night thank goodness I came to my senses!! GLWTS
  15. Our singer and myself have used the Xvive U4 system for rehearsal and gigs for the last few months with very few issues. For us, latency is not an issue at all, I've not felt or noticed it. not really had any interference issues either to complain about. Nothing changing channel hasn't sorted. For the money its a great system, very solid, as long as you're happy with a mono mix. I have the mix I want in mine, my backing vocals have also benefited too as I can pitch my harmony way better which was my main goal. I'd happily recommend the U4 just don't expect pro quality for £200 .... plus you'll need a good set of in ears too
  16. It is indeed and that's why I've withdrawn mine from sale ... I came to my senses !!
  17. That’s lovely, roasted maple neck is superb! Had my EBMM SS up for sale then bottled it, just too good to sell, they ain’t cheap but they ooze quality and Ooooffff that neck!! Who ever gets this will be very happy, it’s easier to find hens teeth than one of these GLWTS
  18. Still searching, I did very kindly get three off @Woodinblack but the volume and a couple more have now given up the ghost despite getting in contact with a nice fella at TC ... he and his colleagues couldnt help due to the Music Tribe thing ... ridiculous !!

  20. After playing long scales for 40 odd years I've switched allegiance exclusively to Short Scale basses, started with a Fender Mustang and not looked back!
  21. EBMM Starry Night short scale Stingray, excellent condition, no dings or knocks, roasted maple neck plays, feels and SMELLS amazing. Finished in Starry Night sparkly, looks ace! Pictures don’t do it justice. Musicman hard case and all of the candy and tools etc as well as a WD Custom clear pick guard if you want to show off more sparkly! The current models, if you like the colours will set you back £2,200+ so a decent saving. Sorry not looking for any trades **WITHDRAWN**
  22. Did you use Short Scale strings? You'll need Medium Scale for a Mustang with thru body stringing, that will sort it out
  23. Aah saw that one on Ebay and was tempted, they are great basses GLWTS
  24. New batch of EBMM Stingray Shorties released, 25 of each, some nice colour combos ... and some a bit iffy ...
