1.
£1695 for this? I must be mad.. In a good market it'd be worth well over 2 grand..

she's an absolute beaut - been well taken care of, sounds fantastic & looks, well... the Bees Knees...

& if you dont like 1695 try me with a sensible offer - I'd really like this to go to someone who appreciates it, will love & care for it & get the best out of her sound wise.

    C'mon - I know you're out there! Schnozz?!
Hahaha! Marc, how did you know!? I've only got trade stuff at the moment unfortunately, the 4001's in cracking condition. Just makes me think of playing Rush's Red Barchetta

  2. I like the idea of having a Rosewood/Flatwound P bass for thump and a Maple/Roundwound bass for growl. The neck looks a lot smaller than I expected - I used to use a Maple Neck Tokai Hardpuncher and that was PHAT but hugely comfortable. I think the new precisions look so much nicer with the grain. You won't be waiting long on here with the amount of guys after an as new maple necked P for £200 less than the high street price. Have a bump on me!

  3. Took the words out of my mouth :)

I would also like to know about these as I'm considering buying the 200 watt version. Would it need to be played through a bass cab for both guitar and bass (with the Orange guitar head)? ALSO is 200 watts of bass going to be enough for a club gig?

  4. I wish this was around when I started, I took two months to pick my first bass - in this case it would have been a day. Taking all the best characteristics of the main three, just needed a rickenbacker headstock! Nice finish :)

I have, save yourself some money and buy a Cort A4/5/6, monorails ain't all that foo! (in a non-offensive manner) Its just my opinion, I have yet to play a good one value for money wise. The ATK was too heavy for me but if I were a big bloke maybe not. And yes there is definately something appealing about owning a guitar no one can play but yourself, but theres always that annoying guy that can't play but likes to try n dings it!
