That’s very nice. Shuker basses are absolutely fantastic.

    Wnats the control config?

3 band eq, volume (push/pull for the LED on/off) and a 3 way switched knob that I guess is series/parallel and what seems to be a boost

  2. Reduced to £795 £750 for sale

I’ve had this early example of Jon’s craft a few years now but it’s not getting played as much since I got a Dingwall so time to move on😀

I believe it is a maple burl top on mahogany body with ebony board on maple/mahogany laminate neck.

    Spec includes

Bartolini pickup with 18v 3 band active eq
    Red side LED’s
    Drop d tuner

I’d prefer a sale but would consider trades for a Jazz of some kind ( not necessarily Fender) or a sterling. Maple fretboards preferred.

Will also look at trades for a 5 string.

Currently in a Warwick gig bag

Prefer collection or meet up within 1.5 hrs for this.I am Wakefield based but travel to Manchester regularly.

Also now happy to post due me being home based most of the time now.

  3. This is circa 1985 Ibanez Musician MC824, the passive version of the active MC924

It features the same ash body/maple neck thru, construction

I got it a few years ago but its not getting much use and with my impending retirement I’m thinning the herd

There's lots of wear and tear on front ,and rear body but nothing bad or dangerous. A purist would refinish it but it’s perfectly playable as is. I’d put weight at about 9.5 lbs, a lot lighter than the MC924

Prefer collection or meet up for this as i’ve no case or bag for it. I am Wakefield based but travel to Manchester regularly

    The price is £295

  4. Includes foot switch and gig bag. Amp is in very good condition with no issues whatsoever.

I’ve had this for 2 years as a back up to my main gigging amp so it’s not been abused

I just want to get a smaller backup which fit in my gig bag so would consider trade plus cash

And as a complete contradiction, I’d add cash for a Darkglass 900

i’d value at £475 for trade, £450 for sale

Let me know if you want more pics - I just added the one to prove it exists

    I will include UK postage

  5. We need to replace the stand for our EquinX lights

it’s just a basic set up with the 4 llights on a bar and a central spigot drops into the hollow top of the existing stand

Seen some reasonable Gorilla stands but can’t figure if they would fit

as you will guess, I don’t know much about lighting 😀

Ermmm...funny you should say that...I've got a John East U-Retro in mine... 😁

It's more to keep consistency with my other gigging basses, all of which have East pres, but it doesn't do any harm... 😊

I put a Darkglass tone capsule in my ABZ - transformed it from a very playable bass that I couldn’t get a sound I liked from to a tone machine. It’s become my go to bass and one of 2 I will never sell

  7. Bought this in April from a fellow BCer, it's a highway one body in powder blue nitro finish with a status graphite jazz neck

Condition is very good although there is a roadworn look on the top body edge where the finish has worn away. Fitted with a John East j-retro so a bit of a tone monster as you would expect and with bags of sustain. There's also a clear Perspex scratch plate for it

Comes with a good quality hard case

Only selling as I need to fund another bass so sorry but no trades on this one

Would prefer to sell locally or meet up somewhere convenient (I travel regularly over to Manchester) as courier arranging is trickier in my new job

    Now reduced to £650
