  1. Had to laugh watching a recent Jools Holland show. Yet another band member who had at least a dozen guitar picks attached to his mic stand

I'll all for having a spare everything when I gig but really, how many picks can someone drop during what seems to be a 3 song set with a good 20 mins between songs ?

Maybe palms get sweaty under those TV studio lights 😄

  2. Sandberg California Pm4 in sunburst with maple neck & fingerboard with dot markers.

Got this in a trade on here and for a while was my main gigging bass but I've decoded to thin the herd

Condition is very good with some blemishes near the jack socket and a small nick on the headstock where I lost an arguemt with a cymbal 😄

Would prefer sale but would look at trades for a stingray or maybe a jazz but strong preference for maple necks

Will inside a good quality gig bag or can negotiate a hard case - sorry for the upside down pics - will resolve shortly

    Looking for £700 ono

  3. Source Audio Soundblox Pro Envelope Filter In excellent boxed condition

Found myself using it less as the band"s direction changed

    Here is the official blurb

The Soundblox Pro Bass Envelope Filter is an evolution of its hugely popular predecessor, the standard Soundblox BEF. As before, there are 22 different envelope filter effects to choose from including 2 Pole and 4 Pole Low Pass variations, Single Peak, Triple Peak, Peak/Notch variations, as well as Phaser settings. Each of these settings can be further modified with a variety of control options including positive/negative filter sweeps, sweep range, attack and decay speed settings, or frequency range
    selection.

In this Pro version, users are able to choose from four different modulation sources including standard envelope filter sweeps, selectable LFO wave forms, a passive expression pedal and the Hot Hand motion sensing ring. An expression pedal input can be used to control filter modulation like in a standard wah pedal or a wide variety of parameters including sweep range, effect selection, LFO speed and more. As in our other Pro Series pedals, the BEF Pro features three footswitches to hold six customizable presets but also includes an option for Tap Tempo LFO on one of the footswitches.

    Price includes uk postage

I had a VT-2 Dual Bass Custom, and it really did sound great! But just too big for my board really :)

I have been admiring your set up on the TKS thread and they are the ones that have tempted me so far. How do you find the S212 + S112 set up compares to a 2 x S112?

I am thinking due to the staircases to our practice room and the fact I only have access to a small car that two small cabs might make more sense than one 212. Might have to make a trip to bass direct and bass gear and try some stuff out once the new amp arrives.

I'm currently running 2 x S112's and am based in Wakefield if you ever fancied a short drive up the M1 for a listen. Will be taking them to Saturdays gig in Wakefield as well.
