Now priced at £325 - I have to go to the Post Office every day this week so discounting the trip to save me an extra journey later!
...
I've been collecting and pedal-testing solidly since COVID but a lot's been happening this year and, as my priorities are changing, it's time to start letting some of these pedals go, including those that six months ago it would have been unthinkable selling.
I recently listed a couple of Doom 2s, one in Cosmic finish and a high gain unit in Jade Sparkle. This time I've got a Bronze Age unit on the block from the March 2025 edition of 111 for £360. The unit is the standard gain model and is basically new in box. The price includes Royal Mail Special Delivery UK postage.
I'm not really looking for trades at this point but there are a handful of pedals I'm curious about: COG T-70 v2; Hamstead Subspace GE, and Chase Bliss Spectre.

That’s a cool collection and a nice idea too.
I’ve made a few maker-themed boards but disassembled my boards for a group shot recently. The only brand-specific board I reassembled is my Broughton Audio board. It’s an absolute beast and weighs a ridiculous amount. It sounds good though!

I'm selling a Doom 2 in Jade Metallic finish. It's from the September 2023 release of 100 pedals and has been given the 'high gain' mod by Spencer at 3 Leaf Audio. The mod makes it a little harsher and more abrasive than the standard gain units but it gets synthy and still has the Doom 2 magic. The mod was originally aimed at guitar players so I'm pricing it at
£320£300 on here.Cosmic Metallic pedal sold. Original ad retained for transparency:
Up on the block are a couple of Doom 2s, one being the standard gain unit (in Cosmic Metallic (the purple one)) SOLD and a high gain unit (in Jade Sparkle)). Both units are from the limited runs of 100 in 2023 and are the latest spec. £360 each (including UK Royal Mail Special Delivery postage). Neither has been used on a pedalboard and they're basically mint in box.The Wicked theme was not intentional.

I’ve not thought to use the vertical plane! Love it! What an inspiration! Great pedals too!

Quick and simple sale, pleasant comms and a great BCer (plus great choice in gear!). I'd happily deal with Dan again - thanks!

@pantherairsoft Thanks for setting this up. Hopefully it will be a helpful resource for finding some insights into how people like (or dislike) certain pedals.
I've included my list below. I've asterisked a few pedals which at the time of writing which I've ordered but I'm waiting to test and I've not flagged which I still do and don't have. I've also not included my boards or power supplies but I usually use Warwick Rockboards and Cioks or Strymon power supplies.
As a shameless plug, I've posted my thoughts on some of my pedals on my Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/admiralchew/

I haven’t tried the Anagram (although I would like to) but I’ve enjoyed using an HX Stomp. I like the process of assembling boards though and still feel there is more tonal variety to be had from individual pedals (currently at least).
I would expect that it’s possible to programme digital modellers to get to more or less the same place but I find it helpful to start with an individual pedal when exploring tone. I suppose each pedal is like a preset whose parameters get tweaked. For pedals like reverbs, there’s a massive difference between an Empress Reverb and the Pladask Draume though and I’m not sure I have the creativity to programme a digital Draume.
Carrying a massive pedalboard is a pain, and I’ve taken to using a smaller more compact unit at practice, but I keep the massive board at home as a tweaker’s delight.
i don’t plan on selling a lot of my pedals though (if I can help it) as I enjoy the process of collecting and display too. Some of the pedals out there are basically works of art (inside for NRG pedals and outside for e.g. old Iron Ether).

Do you want to start a new thread with your list? Would be cool to see how much overlap there is between people, especially those who have massive collections. I'm happy to provide my list as well.
Same. I actually took a group shot of my pedals earlier this year for posterity but it’s not seen the light of day yet. A lot have since been sold but I wanted to catch it at before I started the big sales.

I've been really looking forward to this one. The demos make it sound capable of a ridiculous variety of tones. The low gain settings sound thick and some of the wilder ones sound very useable for synth bass. This strikes me as the first real competitor to the Doom 2 (but I'd be keen to hear @Sibob and @pilotbicycles's experiences) so it'll be interesting to see how things play out.

Maybe the Blackstone MOSFET? https://blackstoneappliances.com
It looks like there’s one on eBay (no affiliation).
Jack Roan at Noble Amps recommended it and it was pretty good (although I have since moved mine on).

I’m really looking forward to that one. I’ve heard one (really excellent) demo. How is it? I’ve not been as excited by a pedal for a while. Maybe worth its own thread if there isn’t one already?

@admiralchew how is the Lutz on bass?

WOW! That is such a lovely collection. Amazing presentation too!Thank you very much! I've spent an inordinate amount of time faffing around with cables and Dual Lock but I do really enjoy putting boards together. I sometimes take a picture of the other side too: the Rockboard routing options are excellent for stopping trailing wires flapping around.
@pantherairsoft the Lutz is an impressive pedal. It's been engineered to within an inch of its life and weighs a ton, especially for a fuzz given they are usually simple circuits. The Lutz is more of a gated, sputtery monster but everything is tweakable. I'll send you a few demos. The low end retention is good (I just listened to it through headphones and it's a lot, especially with a cabsim to tame it) but I find I have to keep a few dials at max/near max to get the sound I like (as is often the case with non-bass-specific pedals). There are plenty of sounds in it, as you'd hope given it has three footswitches, five dials and two dip-switches. A world away from the Type One's simplicity!

Over the past six months or so, I've been putting some more themed pedalboards together for posterity before selling a lot of my pedals (which may have something to do with me clogging up the Pedals for Sale thread). I've finally gotten around to uploading photos here.
I know themed boards aren't to everyone's liking but I'm three years into a shoulder injury (although in the final stretch (fingers crossed, without wrenching my shoulder)) and I'm still bass obsessed, so I have to do something. The themes are British pedals, European pedals, Canadian pedals, US pedals, black pedals, and discontinued and out of production pedals.

I have a 2022 CLF L-1000 and it's a lovely instrument. It's at the lighter end of my basses and it's a beautifully made instrument. The wood grain on the neck and fretboard are pretty spectacular for what is basically a factory-produced bass. I bought it in matcha green though so that should probably be taken into account in considering how much weight to give the earlier sentences...

Apologies the late responses to PMs. I’ve been travelling back from a wedding this weekend. I’ll try to get to the PMs later tonight.

<some selected price drops below - I'm trying to price sensibly but there's not much of a ready market for some of the rarer pedals to gauge against>
I've been collecting and pedal-testing solidly since COVID but a lot's been happening this year and it's time to start letting some of these pedals go.
All the pedals are in good working order and, for the most part, have really been babied and are in great condition. I'm happy to provide more pictures and details if required too.
UK Royal Mail Special Delivery postage is included in the price.
I'm not really looking for trades at this point but there are a handful of pedals I'm curious about: COG T-70 v2, Hamstead Subspace GE and Chase Bliss Spectre.

Howdy.
Not quitting bass, but have just announced to the band that the next gig in September will be my last with them.
There’s a lot more behind me knocking it on the head than just being fed up…
I just don’t think, after 2 years that I want to be in a band with them anymore. We’ve been recording an album and It’s taken an age and the bickering and differences of opinion are taking their toll.
I choose to do this, I’m not earning from it and it’s starting to feel like I should choose to not do it anymore…anyhow.
The gear I own is solely down to “need” for the band.
So I’m not overly attached to much of it.
I’m going to set up sales threads for each part, probably 20 pedals and about 10 basses.
I’m starting a project with a fellow basschatter and will just share music online - no plans to gig after September.
Doing that “falling out of love with music” thing I seem to do every 4/5 years.
Keep your eyes peeled x
It seems wrong to ‘like’ this post. I’m sorry to hear about how you feel; I hope you get your mojo back!

It's been a big week or so for pedals here. Damnation Audio's Big to be more precise. Made in conjunction with Pet Symmetry, it's modelled after the Sanford & Sonny Bluebeard (a brilliant fuzz) and a boost pedal. Like everything of Damnation Audio's I've tried (MBD2, MBD3, Dirtfixer, Spite Box) it works rather well and actually makes me excited to play with a pick. Big-foot-esque blurry photo below.

I’m glad it’s coming back; it’s a lovely pedal. With Dan Coggin’s involvement at Thorpy I’ve been hoping for something like this for a while.
