1. Now just up for sale as an UNLOADED shell. £75 collected (or will deliver a resonable distance of Bath/ meet part way) As leatherette is in, erm, less than OK condition, i'lkl also throw in pretty much enough to recover the thing. This is very much a project cab, and requires a little tlc and drivers. But its BIG fun and loud and low. All i want is to recover some of the funds i spent on the birch in the first place.
2. And the world gets a little better! Hope you enjoy it man, and it looks like kennyrodg is going to be pestering you for first refusal!
3. G-G-G-Gone everyone! Thanks for the interest! Hope its gone to a good home!
4. Hi RandomBass... based over in Bath... However, the head is to be considered SOLD PENDING THE USUAL
5. Saw that, bit of a, errrmm, ambitious price i reckon! Ha! And looks the better for it? Looks like a Year 10 Design Technology project! haha Anyway, Mine's now up on the for sale board if anyone's interested!
6. Here we go again, trying to peddle my wares on here. Ashton BV300 head, 300w KT88 head... all valve preamp. Amazing value for the money at less than a quid per valve watt! It is also very close to the Eden E300T (if you believe some of the theorists, its simply a low price rebranding of the Eden!). Really clean sounding amp. Complimented by a decent drive pedal (If thats your bag !). Has fender style cut only preamp and manages to retain that old school tone and feel. There are the odd scuff and scrape in the tolex, as would be expected from travels in the van, but otherwise, rest of the amp is clean. Benefits from individual bias points for each KT88 so buying matched triples or sextets aren't an issue anymore. Currently running EHX KT88s, EHX 12ax7, 2x EHX 12at7 and 1x EHX 12au7 Phase Inverter. The valve must be almost worth the price alone. Only selling due to finding an SVT II (non pro) for a song, so this one has to trot down the road i'm afraid. Trials of the head are welcome and expected. Link to pics of the internals (Cheers Mr Foxen) http://ampstack.word...300w-valve-amp/ Its the head on the right (Atop the 4x15) in the My Rig pic. will try and get more pics sorted soon, in the meantime a google search brings up some good ones anyway. Also.. VTypeV4 has done a little review of his BV300. find it here http://basschat.co.u...300w-bass-head/ Cheers all!
7. Just aquired one of these myself, awesome amp and great price. Loud as all hell! Have a SVT II appreciation bump on me!
8. To Random Bass Geoff, As Mr Foxen says, i have one here in Bath up for sale... great amp for the money and amazingly clean voiced! VType: Definitely an accurate and hoest review on the BV300 there too! Got on with mine, but found a SVT II (non pro) going for a song, so now it has to go to a new home!
9.
Basically what Mr. Foxen said... I've been messing around with the crossover on mine and there was a whole lot of shaking going on. If I had the money I'd be all over this because what's better than having one Firebass head? Having two Firebass heads!
A man in the know obviously!!!

12. Got a vintage 32ohm eminence/ampeg 10" driver out of an old 70's svt 810 laying around doing nothing. Working order (last time i checked!) Looking offers around £80 or trade for a couple of 4 ohm 10's' or a couple of 16 ohm 10's... At least i can put them to some use in a build capacity! Long shots...
13. Discussions underway for 4x15... Firebass still very much available. C'maaaaaaaaannnnn!
14.
Totally the story of how you got this, and subsequent amps.
Yeah, however the part involving you going " Look at this... why don't you buy it?" beforehand has been omitted.
