How do you find the DiMarzios? I haven't used them before. The Lakland with Geezer Butlers EMG's in is perfect for me tonewise, the bass is a bit on the heavy side which is why I tried the same pickups in this which is much lighter but it's just not the same

If it helps at all, I work in our Chester office 1 week a month, so would be able to take a slight detour on my way there/home

This is the passive version of the corvette with the MEC pickups and passive tone control, made in Germany. Fuji-gen Made in Japan highly sought after Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass in black. This is a finish produced for the Japanese domestic market only. A gorgeous example, in great condition with some marks which is to be expected given the age. Bought from Fender Fever in June last year, replaced by my Lakland Geezer Butler Signature and would like to replace this with another as a backup. Pickups were upgraded to EMG Geezer Butler signatures, I still have the old pickups and these will be provided in the sale.
