  1. SOLD

Alleva Coppolo 1600 Figured Maple Top NAMM 2007 (LG, RA, LM)

    Spec:

No 2 of series of 3 for the NAMM 2007 show
Private Stock One-piece Figured Maple Top
Caramel Burst "edge to blend to back"
Alder or Ash body (not sure)
Maple Board, 34", 19mm spacing at bridge
    Alleva pickups, 60s spacing
Alleva electronics (Vol, Vol + push/pull active/passive, passive Tone Blend, Bass, Treble)
    Year: 2007
    Weight: 4,35 kg
    Protech gigbag, no tools

Action is very low, frets and all other parts in very good condition. This bass has been played a lot by a French pro player, who was also the first owner. The bass has some more or less serious dings, but structurally this bass is in perfect working condition. I tried to catch the major dents in the pics so look carefully. I believe the bass is more for the ambitious player instead for the bass collector.

Originally it had gold bridge and knobs with perloid tops, but the owner preferred black HW - and I agree. the original parts come with the bass. The knobs are like the typical Alleva knobs (Fender JB like) but bought aftermarket as the original ones are heavier golden knobs.

The colour is a special one from that era: "edge to blend to back" means that the back has been painted with a custom colour and the top with a caramel burst.

Alleva 1600 are basically LG5 Classics with exotic tops. This one has a private stock Maple top - one-piece - which is extremely rare to find in that quality. I don't know whether it has an Alder body or Ash. I would tend towards Alder. So basically this is a 60s config with an Maple board - a mix of all 3 major Alleva models LG, RA and LM.

Asking 2700 GBP or 3500 EUR plus shipping from Duesseldorf / Germany.

    SOLD

The site owner has been informed but usually they do not react...:-(

  3. Fodera Matt Garrison Standard 5 Box Elder Burl Top

I just received this as a trade-in for another Fodera. It is a wonderful sounding and playing Fodera in every single aspect. I need to free up some cash so this is up for grabs.

    Spec:

    Box Elder Burl Top
    Walnut body
    3-pc neck
Pau Ferro board with 26 frets
    33 scale, 17.5 mm +/-0.5mm at bridge
    Drop D Tuner
    Year: 2012
    Pickups: Seymour Duncan Dual Coils
    Pope preamp
    Ebony ramp
    Weight: 4,61 kg
    Original case and tools
    Action is very low

The bass is like new condition, not a single mark on it. Frets, Truss Rod, Action, Tuners, Electronics - everything works perfect. The bass features an extended range of 26 frets to improve chording and soloing capabilities.

    SOLD

  4. Fodera Matt Garrison 4 Maple Burl Top & Back

I bought this wonderful MG4 from the original owner only 6 months ago, but I realized that I have no real need for a 4-string bass - and for a bigger house repair I need to free up cash. So it is for sale again: a breathtaking MG4 with super rare Presentation Grade Maple Burl Top AND Back !

    Spec:

Presentation Grade Maple Burl full top and back
Maple Burl electronics cover plate, cut out from the back wood piece
    Walnut body,
    Chestnut tone block
    5-pc Ash neck
Ebony board with Abalone blocks, 22 frets
    33 scale, 19mm +/-0.5mm at bridge
    Year: around 2005
    Pickups: Seymour Duncan Dual Coils
    Pope preamp
    Ebony ramp
    Weight: 4,44 kg
    Original case and tools
    Action is very low

Foderas with exhibition grade top and back wood are extremely rare finds. This bass retails new for more than 15.000 USD plus shipping/VAT.

The bass is top condition, only 2 very small dings on the body sides which are not visible without a closer inspection. Frets, Truss Rod, Action, Tuners, Electronics - everything works perfect. The bass has a 22-fret board to improve the slap capabilities. I personally prefer slapping on 21/22 frets basses because it sounds fuller and more organic than slapping on 24 fret boards.

  5. I bought a fantastic Alleva Coppolo 1600 from Henno. Condition exactly as described. Communication was fast and always helpful. Highly recommended seller (and player).

Thanks for the smooth deal and Happy new Year 2016 !

  6. Fodera Imperial 5 Chestnut Top

Selling my beloved Fodera Imperial 5. I sold this years ago, regretted this and bought it back. But I am actually playing 34" only - so I consider to part with this amazing bass again.

    Spec:

Chestnut Burl Top (not available anymore)
    Alder Body
    5A Rosewood board
    35 scale
    Pickups: Seymour Duncan Dual Coils
    Pope preamp
    Ebony Ramp
    Weight: 4,7 kg
Action is very low. Groundshaking B.

This bass has received a lot of love and playtime - so there are a couple of dings and dongs all over the body. Besides this it is a wonderful playing and world-class sounding Fodera with a breathtaking top and an amazing board (1.000 USD upgrade) !

    sold

  7. Si, I can't believe that anyone who is asking this question does not already know the answer, whch is always yes. You always need to have CITES papers with you when carrying Brazilian Rosewood with anywhere around the world. Not only when passing borders - but especially then it is mandatory. Further Details per PM please.

  8. Fodera Emperor Bolt-On 5 Figured Maple Top

    Specs:

    Gold Hardware, Locking bridge

    Weight: 4,5 kg
    Built in: 1996
    non-original Gigbag

Selling this rare Emperor Elite 5 with Lane Poors and Hazlab Pre.

Body has some dings and dongs here and there and a buckkle belt rash area on the back, but the bass is structurally in good looking and top technical condition. Low action. Typical 70s Fender sound, but with much more Low End. Excellent B string !

    Bass comes with non-original gigbag.
