yeah she comes across as a good sort so I feel a bit uncomfortable not liking her vocals either
Likewise , my guilty dislike is the way Tina Turner seemed to often "squeeze" out her vocals. A great performer and all.
A long car journey with a diet solely of Eurythmics cassettes was a sort of aversion untherapy experience

An awful person, plenty of other dreadful composers musicians producers and plain hangers on both alive and dead. Give it another few years there'll be some spiv exploiting yet another sordid saga.
Sounds like a pretty prurient concept, presumably exploiting some down on their luck victims. Wouldn't have watched though I enjoyed the Glitter Band hits 'back in the day'.

Sorry, as a longtime central London cyclist who commuted on a Steely Columbus Framed Racer I do confess I had my moments, fright induced primarily.
My Basso Loto was not tote your Bass and Ld110 Combo material at all...

No worries, just recall it being a tad counterintuitive. Might ask Ashdown.

I think you’ll be very happy. I run into either the hi or low gain input depending what I want to do - the hi gain giving more break up earlier on. And the EQ can be used to help as well - it’s subtle and not overbearing so pushing the bass for example will help load the valves without becoming mushy.

Hi Merton.
Can you remind me when the eq on these is flat. I lent it to a deranged Rickenbacker player along with my Epifani ul212. Sat in with him and it did sound mint. He swears he didn't let it run hot at all/ not for long.... but I had swapped the original factory valves back in anyway. Did you do any Valve swapping and notice any difference?? Pre amp or Power Valves.
Cheers

Personally I wouldn't carry any favourite basses in a gigbag on a bike. Grandma to suck eggs sort of observation I guess .....

Audere preamp has the ridiculous z switch and with black nylon strings it's a bit of a monster. Would quite like to find a lefty 704 or 705 at some point. Ideally for the price I paid for this which is bodily battered.
Still have the original preamp.
Are your pickups original or replacements, think 1 of mines weak and they're possibly both a bit ho hum.
Cheers

Still a Nexus N410 available at £450.
Toyed with the idea of getting another but am reigning in cab silliness and saving up for a certain combo and keyboard dabbling.
N410 is a formidable Cab find it bemusing the entire Nexus range seems to have passed by unnoticed.
@la bam pointed me towards them and have accumulated some Nexus Stuff.
