1. (Geoff - sorry it has taken ages to leave feedback! Been insanely busy here) Sold Geoff my Pedulla Buzz - was an absolutely ideal transaction - great communication, and he made the whole thing super easy. So if you are looking at feedback in reference to a deal you guys are working on, you should feel confident doing business with him!
2. Reduced to £1100 *SOLD* (pending payment)
3. I should have said this in the original post - I am not looking for any trades - just looking to sell (sorry to the people that contacted me with trade proposals)
4. Lots of interest but no one has pulled the trigger, so still available. Not in an hurry here, but it would be nice to see it off to a new home!
5.
PM,d you
PM'd in return. Just a quick note to also add info about the photos - they are all of the actual bass - the ones with a white background are from the store I purchased it from and the ones on black (which is the case interior) were taken by me just before creating this post.
6. Who needs a lovely fretless? She's sitting here waiting for you...
7. Still available - would be willing to arrange for relatively local delivery/collection (did this with another bass recently - met half an hour away and it worked great).
8.
That's a great bass at a great price. The buzz is the best fretless I've owned- it won't stay here for long...good luck, joe
Hopefully it won't stay here long - but no bites yet, so still available. This is really the quintessential fretless in my opinion.
9.
Hi, fantastic bass and a sneaky feeling I may have owned this one a few years ago. If so, I used it for recording the majority of the time, but did gig with it for around two years, for the odd few numbers in the set. It spent most of its time in a well 'used' Hiscox case to avoid damaging the Pedulla case, whilst sat in the van. If it is the one, it is a wonderful instrument and sure whoever tries it will love it! Good luck!
I doubt it is the same bass given that it has been played very little, has the Pedulla branded case (presumably original) that is in new condition, and other than a the aforementioned tiny ding on the horn, the finish looks like new. But you never know. By the way, I have recently sold two other basses in the forum on statii.com if you want more feedback on me...
10.
Thanks. What about gloss on fretboard ? The epoxy is ok ? No dings ?
The fretboard is near to new (see the origin post above as well) - I think you would have a hard time finding a bass in a showroom that has less wear on the neck - basically what you would expect to see after minimal use. It also has new half-wound Status strings on it (or whatever they call them) - it hasn't had any roundwounds on it, which can leave more marks on the epoxy
11. I meant to also mention that the case is labelled as model MP201 - and the case is basically in new condition with a really nice lining (complete with keys).
12.
Thanks. Let me know for the shipping cost. Do you have originally truss tool ?
I have the truss rod tool and allen wrench, both still in the plastic bag they came in (not sure either has ever been taken out of the packaging). I also have the instructions and other paperwork from Pedulla. I honestly don't think the bass was played for more than a few hours when I purchased it and I have really not used it at all, so it is in fantastic shape. I will have to look into shipping costs - i suppose you could estimate them using the average weight of a bass and case and see the general region of the cost to ship from the UK. The serial number indicates it was built in 2003 (given the condition and the fact that it looks like the newest models, I would have guessed it was more recent). I looked at the 'ding' - cannot get a photo given the lack of contrast - it is on the upper horn and the wood is not exposed. When I took the bass out for a look I noticed that the bridge needs to be polished since it has been sitting unused and is so it is a little dingy, but the finish on the body and neck (including fretboard finish) are near mint.
13.
Hi shipping to France is possible ? What is the year of built of the bass ?
Shipping to France is no problem - but would have to get an idea of weight to see what the likely cost would be. As for the year, I am not really sure but can look at the serial number this evening (Pedulla has a reference for dating based on serial number). I believe it is relatively recent since it has the newer logo and electronics (all my previous Pedullas had the old logo). When looking through the correspondence with the place I purchased the bass, I noticed their comment that there is a small ding on the horn (listed as 5mm x 2mm) - must be very small since I don't notice it and had totally forgotten about this. I will try to get a photo for reference.
14. For sale is a near mint Pedulla Buzz 4 string with a nice maple body (looks like flame maple). It is in fantastic shape - only the slightest string marks on the neck (I mean really slight - something you will have within days or a weeks). I have played it for a handful of hours - hence needing to sell. It comes with a Pedulla branded hardcase (don't recall the make of the case). Has the Bartolini J pickups with the classic Buzz bass sound you would expect. [attachment=152552:buzzhead.JPG
15. Glad to hear it's not available since it was very tempting, and I don't have a need for it right now!
16. nice - reminds me of the Victor Wooten Fodera: Victor Wooten
17. My immediate thought was also Status strings - everything that Rob Green lays his hands on seems to be brilliant too.
18. If I can ship this by the end of the week and someone will make a deal ASAP I will eat the shipping cost within the UK. After Friday I'll be patient and wait to sell for the full price (which I think is a steal - look at past sales here for comparison).
19.
hello, are both truss rods working ok,did you buy this after the repair to the back was carried out,was an explanation given as to what happened, mike b.
I meant to comment in my original post that this model was made after Pedulla switched to their current truss rod system. Older models had a single truss rod system that is much less desirable than these newer versions that have the same truss rod as they use today. It comes with the original case in great condition and the truss rod tool. I haven't adjusted the neck and have really only played the bass for a few hours, so I would have to check on the truss rod adjustments to say much about the truss rods. I have to say though that, having just had a truss rod replaced on my Jaydee, I think i would recognize if there was any instability and I don't feel any. But like I said, I haven't adjusted it. As for the ding on the back, I have received no explanation, but looks like someone tried to repair some buckle rash and thought it would look better with some ill matched paint. I was just up playing the bass since I had to get a weight on the bass with case for a shipping quote for international shipping. It's really in nice condition - there are a few light marks on the headstock that you won't really notice and that repaired ding on the back and a small amount of string marks on the neck, but I would say that it is in much better shape than any of the 'cheap' Buzz basses I have seen. While playing it I started having serious second thoughts! Especially since the Pentabuzz is going to cost me a LOT more! Great value in this bass.
20. Yeah, teaches me not to create new threads as I am rushing out of work to collect my kids from school. I've fixed the original post and also replied to all of the PMs. Some serious interest, and I am working on a deal, but no deal made yet.
21. *********SOLD******** Sorry to say to those interested, but the Pedulla Buzz has been sold. A real steal in my opinion, but the cash goes towards another Pedulla fretless - absolutely fantastic fretless basses!
22. An absolute rockin deal for a bassist with limited funds. You can't get much more bass for <£300.
