  1. Hi, Wanting to build a bass from scratch, any advice would be appreciated regarding woods to use for the body and neck, obviously with a sensible budget in mind. Cheers Alan
  2. Used to have the 120 valve head, 6 x EL34's as I recollect, like you really really regret letting it go, best of luck.
  3. I use two of these 2 x 8 with the BH250 or the BQ250, just gives you a fuller sound and of course slightly more power as you are delivering to 4 ohms.
  4. HI Does anyone else there TC electronic Spectradrive, if so is the drive element editable in the Toneprint app? Cheers
  5. Nothing wrong with cheap even if only to find out if you like the effect/sound or not.
  6. Hi does anyone use or know of a decent budget wireless system? My current alesis has taken a final dive. Cheers
  7. Spot on + loads of snobbery
  8. Interesting!
  9. The Octaves up tend to be a little synthetic anyway on a lot of them
  10. Yes the Spectracomp(Which I have) has loads of parameters to set on the Toneprint App, maybe toooo many
  11. Keep to come from Poole, was does on need to bring?
  12. HI I am thinking of getting one fo these ( I use and like TC stuff and the tone print app), does anyone have either the standard or mini and use the Toneprint app with it? I am interested in the parameters that can be programmed? Thanks in advance
  13. I Have a Donner Harmonic Square Octaver which goes up and down and also have octave divisions i.e 2nd 3rd 4th fifth etc and it works OK and is relatively cheap. I don't think any of them perform perfectly and I was reluctant to spend loads of dosh just to discover a minute differences in performance. I am putting a new topic on here for anyone using the TC Electronic Sub N Up(Quite like TC stuff) either standard or mini octaves, and more importantly using the Toneprint app to set user patches. Tempted to dry the Behringer for fun though.
  14. Just a rock covers not that loud, but i think you have convinced me to look at something else, maybe a fender 100 rumble✔️ Cheers Alan
  15. Ooopppsss.
  16. Still counts if it has Status on it.😎
  17. Do you still have the 5?
  18. Try Thomann they do some very good copies of everything.
  19. Any status users on here, just curiouos. No snobbery intended?😎
  20. HI Has anyone used the Orange crush 50 for small gigs, I want something like this orange for lack of space and easy to lug about. I usually use a 250 TC electronic. Cheers in advance Alan
