  1. Under advisement I believe this is too much for one of these so price adjustment to £420 Posted.
  2. Hi again Continuing my "not feeling jazzes anymore" clearout, here is a stunning Spector jazz. A sea of quilt maple on an alder body with a dark rosewood board on a lovely smooth maple neck. The pickups have been swapped out for a White EMG set wired to Classic VVT Solderless pots the fourth pot is redundant at the minute. Also a GOTOH DROP D tuner has been added by the previous owner. The knobs are a matching light oak and make a nice change from the usual. The scratchplate is home made and mainly to show how the bass looks with one added as it is my preference. It isn't perfect but hasn't been screwed to the body so removes in a jiffy. This is possibly the smoothest bass I've ever played feels super playable so much so that passing without a quick noodle is extremely difficult!! String spacing is 17.5 at the bridge. Bass weighs approx 9.5 lbs. I'm not sure if the strings are DR but they don't glow in the dark so not Neons. The bass is in immaculate condition, and I rarely ever say that!! Any questions please ask and I will endeavour to answer. Having trouble adding pics due to file size?? So can email them if interested. Price includes postage.
  3. 1Hi All A change of direction means the old girl is up for sale. A beautiful teal colour which unfortunately looks blue in the pics?? If I can gmfind a way to capture the true colour I will. The Limited title I think is due to the front mounted controls, a swamp ash body (bass weighs in at 4.1 kg) and A one piece maple neck with 21 frets. As you can see it has had a life on the road and bears the scars to prove it. A couple of ugly ones on the face sadly but if mojo is your bag I think it qualifies! Excellent build and sound quality even with the changed Duncan design pickups. Only able to upload a few pics seemingly so get in touch for more. Back of the bass if unmarked and shows off the grain beautifully 😍 The price is inclusive of UK postage and a warwick rockbag in great condition 👍 Any questions I'll do my best with.....
  4. Defo NOT 19mm ☺️ 17mm spacing at the bridge.....
  5. Will measure tomorrow bud but pretty sure it's 19mm.
  6. TRADES FOR SOMETHING 4 STRING AND MORE TRADITIONAL!! WHY? Hi All I bought this just as another came up that I had been waiting for but given up on!? 😬 So here we have a bass I know next to nothing about? Looks very Warwick influenced which attracted me to it firstly. Nice light bass with head turning looks due to the grain fill against the light wood? body. I don't know the body wood but it has a slightly sculpted back and sounds great. Worth pointing out that the grain grooves can be felt on the surface it's not a flat finish. Like the Warwick line it has MEC J pickups married to a 2 band eq. 24 fret 5 piece laminate maple neck with rosewood board. Black hardware with a very robust bridge which seems to mimic through body stringing. 34" scale. (EDIT) Volume knob is active/passive push pull pot. The current variants start at £775 upwards so I think this is a decent priceAs it is unmarked as far as I can see. States on the web that these are hand made but?... Nicely made branded hard case included. A bit of tarnish on a couple of frets but should come off easily enough. Weight at a guess is 3.5kgs will weigh later. Any questions I will try my best to answer. Cheers Craig.
  7. Do you know the weight please?
  8. For sale a set of EMG PAX precision pickups in immaculate condition with little use. I bought these to spice up an old squier which I I promptly sold without ever getting round to installation. Bought on BC and just trying to recoup what I paid. The X version is supposed to lean more to an old passive type tone. I would trade for ultralight tuners 4 over 1 for my stingray 5. Any questions please ask I will try my best to answer. Craig.
  9. Yeah strange times buddy In more than just bass forums 😷😷
  10. Last bump before Ebay. Hi all For sale a Heavy Relic Squier precision in black with yellow pickguard (original cream pickguard included). It is Chinese made but plays and sounds really nice. I have stuck an easily removed F decal sticker which is a little crude but from a distance and all that... New Wilkinson black bridge is the only deviation from the otherwise original bass. Basses of a relic nature are always down to taste but it looks good to me. Selling as I am sticking (for now) with 5 strings. Weight is 9lbs and string spacing is 19mm. Postage to UK included. Any questions please ask Craig.
  11. Hi all Finally moving on my old faithful friend the EHX Bassballs filter pedal. I have used this a lot and will probably live to regret selling her but times are very hard. Not in the greatest of condition cosmetically but the sound is all there and is very hard to fault. Super solid USA build quality. Not the smallest for your pedal board but worth every inch!! No power supply. Any questions please ask. Cheers Craig
  12. For sale a pair of Active Seymour Duncan pickups. Removed from an Aria 5 string Steve bailey Signature but they are small enough to fit most 4 string bases. Excellent condition, Postage included, any questions please ask. Cheers Craig.
  13. Evening all I am selling my Bitsa Boner P bass which is all original but for the obvious after market neck. A sunburst on alder body with the altered Longhorn design to accommodate the 22 fret neck. Loaded with Lace sensor pickups in P/J configuration it is wired to a pickup selector switch, vol, series/parallel button and an overall tone. The pickups are excellent and are both beefy and yet quiet in operation. All original hardware is still with the bass but I only have 3 of the four fine tuning screws for the bridge unfortunately. The bass has had a life so bares some battle scars but is decent cosmetic condition overall. A laquer crack is visible on the rear which developed after the second neck was installed. It is only laquer as can be seen through the clear finish it doesn't continue alongn the back. It has been painted black to make is less noticeable. Weight is 9lbs, nut width 41mm, string spacing is 19mm A super player and sounds really great. The neck is new but aged to look more authentic and is 70's inspired with blocks and binding. . I have a decal on order which I can fit or supply with the bass. Old neck has long gone too. Price includes uk postage. Cheers Craig.

  14. Hi all I had this up for a short while but the electrics developed a problem so I had to sort it. I have replaced the original Seymour duncan active pickups and pre for some Aguilar ag70's and have replaced the pre with a passive jazz style harness. The controls are v/v/t but the first vol is a pull up series/parallel pot to combine the pickups as one big humbucker. The capacitor is a pio which I really like. The body is alder and has a good cut away for easy access to the 24th fret. It is a warm two tone burst and I have made a new gold scratchplate as the old one (included) wouldn't accommodate the new harness. The neck is 3 piece maple and the board is tiger stripe ebony and is nicer than I can really describe. It is 34" scale length. Weight is 4.2kg Battery compartment and wires are still in situ should you ever want to revert to active in the future. I would give the bass 8.5/10 for condition and it will come with an old semi hard case. UK postage included. Cheers Craig.
