I bought this to have as a back-up for my GWB1, however I can't really afford the luxury of a spare instrument at the moment so am offering it up for sale. See here for the specs and here to see what Gary Willis has to say about this model. SOLD As this bass doesn't have a case, and I don't currently have a suitable box to ship it in, collection only from west London.

I have two Gator rack cases available, one 4u and one 2u, both standard depth. Product specs can be found here and here. Collection from west London preferred but can post at cost. Sold Sold

Free to anyone that wants it (collection from west London preferred): Sony TC-K511S 3-head hifi stereo cassette deck with Dolby S (same as the one in the top of the pic here). It's sat in a box for years, just got it out to archive some old rehearsal tapes. Heads might need adjusting though as it's been a bit temperamental with my 15 year old TDKs!

Thanks Doctor J! I know that the promoter of that show is very keen to get Cynic back for their own show at some point so keep your fingers crossed.

I was actually supposed to be playing Chapman Stick with Cynic on this tour, however when their set got reduced to just 30 minutes the tracks I was to appear on got pretty much cut from the set. Still got to play the Dublin show but by the time we got to London it became apparent that they couldn't guarantee which, if any, other shows I'd get to play so I stepped down from the tour.
Wow it was pretty amazing both bass players were amazing. I love Sean Malone and the guy from opeth is immense.
You realise it wasn't Malone you were seeing, but Robin Zielhorst?
DiGiorgio did most of the bass, but the little solo in Cosmic Sea was by Skott Carino.
Nope, the solo was DiGiorgio too - Carino just did some overdubs at the beginning of the track: "The credits in the cd booklet are misleading. I played the whole song, but shortly after I was done I had to leave for Europe to hook up with the Sadus dudes to tour with Morbid Angel. Anyway, while they were mixing they found some weird sound on the bass track and since I wasn't there to fix it and since Scott was there hanging out during an album he wished he could have recorded...they told him to grab his bass and redo like three notes in the very beginning. That's it man, a very small thing. The break in the middle after the cosmic storm is me, obviously, on the mighty Ric." - Steve DiGiorgio

Anyone considering one of the pedals here rest assured that Ed is very cool to do business with. -
Whats your requirements, you want decent Backline...amps...general space....size..or what..cost per session or hour...I know several.
Would be nice to have a bit of space but no backline is needed, we'll be bringing everything. Drums will be the only 'live' instrument anyway as we're using an in-ears setup (a desk and small PA would be a bonus - just to check the mix - but not a necessity). Would want to block book two days so whoever would be the most cost effective for that.
What the hell you doing in Birstall?
Haha, it's where the tour manager is based. Edit: PM'd you with more details.

Can anyone recommend me any rehearsal studios in or around Leeds please? The closer to Birstall the better. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, no backline required, just need to be able to book it out for two days mid November.

To go: pair of AVF wall-mounted speaker brackets. Pick up from west London.

Cheers. I'll be playing most of the shows on the Opeth tour too
