1. Hi I bought a Westfield p bass a while back and I'm just about to upgrade it for a bit for fun, I don't suppose anyone knows if a standard P Bass scratchplate will fit?
2.
Have you checked all of the fuses?
Fuses or valves were what I was hoping, I've not opened it up yet.
3.
Mine did that and it was the end, that's how I ended up with my Rumble 500 which I have to say I'm very happy with.
Was it knackered?
4.
If you can't hear any hiss noise then check the speaker and associated wiring first.
Hi Whizzzy thanks for that, i didn't hear any audible hiss but I'm pretty deaf! I did put a set of cans into the headphone out and nothing, I dunno if that helps with the diagnosis.
5.
I'd swap out the valves one at a time until you find the culprit. If that doesn't diagnose it, then it probably needs a stern looking at!
Lol will do cheers!
6. I started rehearsing tonight and my Streamliner just faded out and now has no volume. The lights go on, looks fine but no sound. I'm a bit flummoxed, could it be valves or fuses? Any ideas much appreciated. Additionally, I've gone and sold me back up amp!

8.
Don't know much about the Firehawk.
I think it has lots of the same sounds as the HD500x but not as full featured and you can't install the bass pack but it has the app and bluetooth which was what attracted me to it. As I mentioned I just wanted something to practice with and so far it seems great. Built like a tank as well.... need to buy a bag now
9. I ended up getting a Firehawk relatively cheap on eBay, I know it doesn't have the bass pack so getting useable tones will definitely be harder but the app is just so good for editing I reckon it will be fine. It feels like it might be a product in transition but so far I think it's really great. The hassle for me with multi fxs has always been a clunky UI, making single stomps or no pedals preferable but this is a real improvement.
10. Cheers Skybone just missed out on one! But it sounds ideal. I'm hoping a few guitar gear heads might go for the Helix and a few of these may become available.
11. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the HD 500x as a practice rig? They are popping up here and there around the 250/300 mark. I have a an Aguilar TH 350 and an old EA CXL at home at the moment and it undoubtedly sounds great but I don't turn it up and it takes up space. Just think one of these and some good cans (which I have many!) could be good. Any thoughts?
12. Cheers Trevor and thanks to your input I'd shelved the idea of the extender. I'll speak to OBBM or maybe stick with wires!
13.
I got obbm on here to knock me up a couple..
. Cheers Mark!
14. Does anyone know of an extender for a quarter inch jack? I picked up one of those little Samson wireless units and the transmitter doesn't fit in the recessed socket of my Wal. It's just for messing about the house (trying to be tidy!) so no big deal. The only thing I could see was a mono to stereo adapter but dunno if that would work? http://www.thatcable.com/product/6-35mm-1-4inch-Mono-Jack-Plug-to-Stereo-Jack-Socket-Adapter
15. Anyone have a suggestion for a hardcase for an NS CR4?
16.
"Sold pending the usual" does that mean its sold, waiting for payment or something else? From Denmark and don't quite know the term
Hi it means just waiting for payment!
17. It is a Schaller has a very nice mottled finish. Thanks very much for the info, I'll update the post.
18.
Hi.. Its fitted with a Schaller brigde right?
Hi have to be honest I thought that was the stock bridge. But after a Google it seems far more substantial.
19. Thanks you used to be able to post from google photos but apparently not but you can get round it .... I think!
20. Have uploaded pics instead of linking.... apologies!
21. Bummer ! They exist! I'll upload some later. Thanks for the info!
