  1. Does any one on here have a 24k resistor spare? I need 1 to return my MXR Phase 90 to stock (better for bass) and it would be a waste buying a roll of 100 from china just to use 1. Thanks

Thought I had some 24k's but apparently not, plenty of 22k and 27k though. https://www.bitsboxuk.com/ is great for low volumes - 10pc minimum on resistors and no minimum order, just a fixed postage cost - 10 resistors plus postage should be £3, 1 or 2 day delivery.

Honestly, a 22k is close enough, certainly within the 10% tolerance of typical resistors. If you’ve got any 47k resistors lying around ( it’s a more common value than 24k) then using two of those in parallel will get you 23.5k, which is closer. I doubt you’ll hear any difference though.

  2. Desperately need an EMG quick connect solid shaft volume pot, one of the pickup connectors and one of the pot to preamp connectors, anyone got any spare? Thanks in advance!

  3. Never ever buying anything from BassDirect again. Purchased a Tech 21 YYZ pedal through their reverb store, paid for it and then got a message saying it's out of stock and been refunded but my refund will take 3-5 days to process which means I'm out of pocket until then and can't go purchase one somewhere else until that money is back in my account.

@Jakester I've been considering buying a bass they have listed in stock on their website, I'd rather miss out on the bass or pay more elsewhere instead of putting money in their pockets now. And shops like that wonder why people would rather use big online retailers/auction sites over them?

@ForbiddenWytch - because BD (and I'm sure they are not alone) have a history regarding stock management. It has been detailed here many times. I've no beef with them, but I know if there is something they say they have, I'll take a couple of minutes to ring them and buy it that way. Disregarding that, why involve a third party in the transaction when you don't have to. It just doesn't make sense to me.

@hiram.k.hackenbacker Have you not read the comments? I had reverb "dollars" to spend from the sale of a couple of my own items on there and when searching for the pedal, it just so happened to be available from them. I don't spend 24 hours a day on BassChat reading every single thread to know of the issues with Bass Direct's poor inventory management. I'm glad you've got the time to sit there and ring somewhere to double check on their stock, do you do the same with Amazon? Don't answer that because I already know what the answer is. I happen to work in the day time, you know, usual trading hours? I purchased the pedal in the evening. Your comment is so damn stupid.
