Going back to just playing properly again, last few years just seem to spend all my time fiddling with knob’s/settings on multi effects units. Bought a new amp (see my Laney post) and just happy plugging in and playing again learning some new sounds.
-
Highly recommend Laney.

Its defo the DB500 not the foundry, the foundry does nit have valve drive but does gave a master volume control
-
Its got 2 handles on it!!!! What more do you want??? 😉 Someone mentioned Zilla cabs not sure in weight.
-
who needs a band when you have this! “if you build it they will come” 😆
-
It sounds like it looks
-
Whats the cab? Or us it just pimped up?

Ive just got a laney 212 (amp cab set up) 4ohm looks and sounds great £500.

Well after about 6 years amp-less just using a powered speaker and Helix Stomp/couple other DI pedals, i recently moved house, bigger detached no neighbours to worry about so decided to treat myself. After much deliberation decided to go for the Laney as it ticked all the boxes for features I wanted. It came down to The Ashdown studio stack or this. very very impressed, the Amp is not dead the King returns, straight out of the Box all set at 12 sounds amazing on both channels couple tweaks and got the sound i want. I was worried 500w would be too loud but getting great sounds at lower volumes with plenty to crank if i ever need it. Real amps are just so responsive (or at least this is) I had to pinch myself my playing (even after 3 weeks off on holidays) was just so Dynamic. Sounds and plays just like you think an amp should. Real amps vs Modellers could be a separate threat.

like the sound of this. Would have liked a demo of some of the subtler low gain sounds just after break up.

it didn’t sound up to much though, seemed to suck all the low end out, and on a dedicated bass effect not a good advert. Caveat i watched on phone speakers

What ate the Chorus and phasers like on here?

Yeah i gad a MAG a few tears ago 15” paired with a 410. Immense. not had a dedicated amp for a few years but fancy this. -
Thinking of getting a new small amp set up, and my eye on one of these. been looking for reviews on here and cannot find anything. anybody got won and have some decent feedback.

Extreme + Terrorvision at Halifax Piece hall. Terrorvision always s great live bank. Extreme still great aswell. Bass player Pat Badger very underrated. Often overshadowed by Nunos virtuosity

Anybody no any good music shops in Doncaster, moved to the area from just outside in West Yorkshire, used to be a big music shop on Nether hall hall road, but that went a few years ago. anywhere good for parts strings accessories and generally supporting local business?
