Fender 62 Precision Original. Loadsamoney!
did the maple board precision disappear completely til 67/68? Was it only the early 'telecaster' style Precision that had a maple board?

That is one gorgeous bass! If I could count to six I'd have it but my drummer says I have trouble counting to four (or is it three?)
All the best

Big Blue Bible says
"Instruments previously produced in Korea by the Moriadara Guitar Company. These entry level quality solid body guitars feature designs based on classic American favourites.
While they do bear his name, Bill Lawrence is not associated with these models"
No specific info on basses but guitar estimates are $250 - $400 dep on condition, again this is from the blue book.
hope this helps
If the 80s ever become cool that'll be worth a lot more than the current price. (& so will my Hohner B2A)
What!!!!! The 80's aren't cool? Everybody knows Music, Fashion and Films all hit their peak in the Eighties!
KHAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!

Never played an actual synth/midi bass but recently got a Godin guitar with synth access (to a Roland GR33 floor unit)
The guy I got it from talked about changing my playing style if I was using the midi system. He said it helped if u tried to forget u were playing a guitar and think about what preset/type of sound you were triggering.
I find also with sounds that have a high(?) attack level (ie funky bass sounds) ANY delay in the buffering is noticeable and u have to almost stay ahead of the beat - although maybe i havent set it up properly yet.

Is there a word for that sickening feeling you get the first time u prang a (so far) pristine bass? And do you still get it if you have a pre-relic'd bass.

Well done! Just testing you all!
Cheers BB -
This is one great looking bass - Alembic, Jaydee, Status and Pangborn all rolled into one!!!!!!

Stop putting nice basses like this up for sale! I keep forgetting I can be tempted by things I want.
Love it!!!!

I thought line6 and behringer (V-Bass) and Zoom did small effects boxes for amp and bass modelling - I know these aren't single effect stomp-boxes but worth a look.

That was me wot sold that one - glad it went to a good home but missing it.

Has anyone heard of a bass builder, based in Devon area, called De Whales or De Wailles or similair. They used to advertise in Bass magazines in the 80s and their basses looked great but I cannot find any info on them other than the Blue Book lists them as Devon, England based
Would welcome any info/pics. -
Agree with Max Rossell if cash on pick up how can it be a rip. Only thing to watch for and this obviously applies to anything to bid is to buy not to try - note he will not accept returns on it. If u turn up and its obviously a dog (you dont need to hand over the money i suppose) or it turns out later it goes on fire after 45 mins of running. Alas Buyer beware.
Bet it sounds sh*t hot tho!!! If my back wasnt wrecked by years of humping (gear that is!)................... -
I would vote for ibanez BTB400 - I got one for £150 from ebay and I was amazed at how good it was - the Eq on it was
Shot- hit! Only got rid of it cos the wife said a dozen basses was OTT and something had to go.
Also check this currently on eBay - 200 bucks for all that! Pick up only so cant be a rip!

I have a Perception and a Wal proI but I never noticed this before but I see what you mean! Especially if u look at just the bottom half of the picture.
I have also just received a phone call telling me I have blown the chance of an '86 Wal Custom for 2K by dithering too long
Ho-Hum!

I think they are losing it or have put a drummer in charge of things - they listed an Aria SBR150 and proudly announced it was a top of the range SB1000 as used by JT of DD - apart from the small matter of the number of pick-ups and the neck width and the fret markers it was an easy mistake to make. Oh they also wanted 1100 smackers for it!!!!!!

If anyone fancies a trip north of the border I spotted this deal - guy has 4x 10 12 band Trace combo with trace 4x10 ext cab AND 5 string Musicman(listed seperately) offering both for £1000. Sounds like instant pro-rig to me!
I is retired and cant do 5 strings anywayor i would be tempted
Listed on Monday 22nd so may be gone.

I should check the for-sale posts more often. I've just returned from driving to Brighton from Glasgow to buy a Godin LGX SA and Synth - if I had seen this i would definitely have dropped in to check this out. Is it still available?
I will be down in Manchester next weekend for the Northern Guitar Show so i could come down from there if it still for sale.

Nothing fades like the future and nothing clings like the past...............
Nostalgia is big business (or at least it used to be) I sometimes think some groups end up being their own 'Tribute' band - just trot out all the hits, no new material, take money home in used fivers a brown paper bag.
The SB performance on JR show was good and it seemed genuinely live and nobodys perfect - I once saw a covers band doing their stuff and they were so crap they were called Spandau Badly......
GAS has beaten me this month.
