Made this bass as a compact back up to my gigging bass. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dzaakwq2k0f62fy/AAAvKmN-iB89Zwn0qMgiDr8sa?dl=0 It started life as a Squier Bronco, but has since had some decent upgrades: -Nordstrand NM4 Mustang Pickups -Upgraded bridge (now with 4 individual saddles for better intonation). -d'Addario Chrome flat wounds. -Genuine Mustang scratch plate (pickguard....I'm American after all). -Fully grounded and copper shielded. -New wiring harness featuring CTS pots and orange drop capacitor. -Sanded and used NW guitars amber nitro on the neck. Needed a new headstock decal....hence the "Fender Mustang Bass"....can be removed easily enough if you prefer. -Control plate is not quite right (it's part of the original Bronco scratch plate) but I'm including a new Mustang control plate that maybe you can work to fit. Includes original packaging for Norstrands plus a good Epiphany well padded gig bag (originally a long scale but modified for short scale....bass fits great in it). I love the Mustang experience so much I'm going to get a MIM Offset PJ Mustang next week and already have a modified Bronco with Jazz pick ups, so off this one goes. Local deal would be great (Teddington TW11), but happy to ship mainland UK for £20.

This has been a tough bass to part with, but really my P Bass is doing it all for me right now and is my go to bass for studio work so let's find a good home for my Gibson SG. This 2014 has been my gigging bass for awhile now, hence it show's some mojo, which is easy to achieve with these basses because of the thin nitro finish. It's certainly not abused, it's just that it's seen some action on stage. I've upgraded the bridge to the Hipshot which is such a fantastic upgrade. Also installed a Dimarzio Model One in the neck position which makes these SG's have so much more clarity and punch. It's strung with d'Addario Chrome flat wounds which are about a month old. The pictures should show the imperfections in the bass, but again, nothing major and all cosmetic. Sale includes the hard case, original paperwork, original bridge and neck pick up as well as original strap buttons. You can see I moved the original neck strap pin to the upper horn which is rock solid and eliminates any neck dive. Well, this is one of them and I'm sad to see it go, but it was a tie between this and my Gibson USA SG short scale. The short scale narrowly won out, so off to a good home the P bass goes. Nice bass, I presume the body is string thru? (Even through the current bridge isn't....) Also what year is this? .....hoping it's one with graphite rods in the neck.... Many thanks!

I had one of these. Gigged it often. Went short scale and sold it. If you like plenty of options AND P bass with Jazz neck, this is your bass! So tempting to go back the the Am. Jag....

Wow, a jazz and P for sale. I hope you're saving at least one bass? I presume the nut width is standard P width (1.65")? Congrats on the baby! I have a six year old and can tell you it's a blast!
