      Yeah man, I think I'm being too fussy, I have a corvette and a thumb both active and wenge fingerboards, so I like that vibe, just in the process of selling an Electra p bass so I do like the build of Sandberg's. 

       

      There's a fender jbr-80 going no idea if that's any good. Really need to try some out but everywhere is far away!

    How can you safeguard against scams on Fb Marketplace?
    There's a bass for sale on there I really would like, but I don't know how to safeguard against getting scammed. 😟

      Is it local? or is it one you gotta pay for and then get shipped?

      If its the latter insist on using a protected payment like Paypal, if they are unhappy about fees, offer to add a bit more on to cover it, better to spend a few quid than lose the lot.

      If they still kick up a fuss, then that screams dodgy to me dude, good luck!

    Fretting hand cramping up more often now, even after a good warm up.

     

    Maybe it's time to go to the dark side. . . .

     

    And get a P bass . . .

      I think that's were I'm at. Although my thumb isn't ergonomically as bad as a 5 no neck dive etc, the neck is thin both ways and I have large hands and I do fast runs and dig hard, going to try some basses with chunkier necks. I've been looking at the Schecter model t, I don't really get in with fenders maybe that will change, just need a good shop to go try some out

      Had Warwick's all my playing life, most recently a thumb 4 for the past few years, thin neck, 38mm nut I think. So tiny compared to p basses, well the top end at 44mm, so maybe I try one?
