  1. I will ship just about anything but I think a (very) heavy valve head isn't a good candidate for shipping abroad. Lots of heavy lumps of metal which can pull away from their mountings and obliterate everything else.... 😟
  2. I think that'll only work if they're flying in a Hercules......
  3. Hi Mr stealth, Indeed it is still for sale. Thanks for asking πŸ™‚
  4. Paul has just bought my Boogie Bass head and he was great - very quick payment and excellent communications πŸ™‚ Very highly recommended and deal with in complete confidence.
  5. Ha! Just found and posted them, apologies! 😁
  6. Specs? I'll do my best πŸ™‚ Here's a close up of the front panel Head size - 68.5cm X 33cm X 30.5cm Weight - Approximately 24kg Was there anything in particular you wanted to know?
  7. I've reluctantly decided to put my EBS T90 Classic up for sale. Excellent condition with just two or three wee nicks to the covering. Beautiful build quality and simply an exquisite valve head. To employ the usual cliche - although it's rated at 90 watts, it's a very loud 90 valve watts pumped out by a rather juicy pair of 6550's 😊 Looking for £850 which includes overnight delivery within the UK. Cheers Grahame Piccies -
  8. Up for sale is my Boogie Bass 120. This started out originally as a Sound City 120 complete with the infamous noisy preamp. It was due for a recap anyway so I sent it to Rob Dix at RD Amplification for a complete rebuild. Rob put his own 'Boogie Bass' preamp in there and refined the output section whilst retaining those lovely Partridge transformers. It has very little noise unless you crank it up to 10 with the treble and mids on full too, otherwise, it's a remarkably low noise amp. On the other hand, don't be fooled by the '120' - Rob had the six 6CA7's pushing out over 160 watts on his bench which, when plugged into my Bergantino NV412 is positively seismic. It's a quality build using ceramic valve sockets and quality components throughout. Biasing is made simpler (and much safer!) with the sockets on the rear for plugging a multimeter into. Although the wiring looks chaotic, it's a deliberate ploy to reduce noise and it works! Any questions please ask, I'll try and answer them. Looking for Β£500 which includes overnight delivery within the UK. Cheers Grahame

  10. Okay, I had a muck about with it this afternoon. The Heavy/Soft is like a Loudness switch and the Sub Mid/Bass is like a boost for each one - well that's my interpretation anyways πŸ™‚
  11. Already checked this and yes, washing machine spinning at 1200 rpm apparently 😁
  12. Yes, Phil brought it into the UK for me. A top man to deal with, no question.
  13. Well it seems I'm entering the last phase of my gear cull, with this possibly being the toughest to let go. A Veillette Archtop fretless in as new condition. Simply a work of beauty by Joe Veillette and his small team in NYC. Top is in quilt maple with the back in poplar. The 35" fingerboard and bridge are in ebony. The undersaddle piezo pickup, blends smoothly with the Citron magnetic pickup. String spacing is 16mm. This rushed me around Β£3300 a few years ago. Now, with a similar spec, you'd be looking at around Β£5500 plus freight and import taxes.... I'm looking for Β£2300 which includes insured overnight delivery with UPS. Our very own Gareth has kindly allowed me to use his video which showcases the bass and tones better than I could ever hope to describe with the written word - thank you Gareth! πŸ™‚ And now of course, the inevitable pics - Many thanks for looking Grahame πŸ™‚
  14. I'll be honest Jack, I'm not really sure myself as I've not played through it enough to really get to know it... πŸ˜• I'll have a fiddle (!) hopefully on Monday and report back πŸ™‚
  15. Thanks for your comments Fella - I must confess, I'm completely ignorant when it came to the B.... 😁
  16. Another preamp being allowed to go is my Peavey TG Raxx valve preamp. Everything works as it should. Although a 'TG' and not a 'TB' (Guitar and not Bass), there's virtually no difference except, I believe, a single diode in the circuits. Sounds way beyond its asking price and is, in my opinion, superb value. Looking for Β£150 which includes overnight delivery to an address of your choice within the UK. Cheers Grahame πŸ™‚ Piccies -
  17. Another of my preamp's up for sale is this rather unusual ReuBenzehn Tube Basspreamp. Fully functional with everything working well. 220/230V Handy having the valves accessible from the back of the case for easy 'Tube rolling'. Please note that this case is 1.5 rack spaces high. I'm looking for Β£200 which includes overnight delivery to an address of your choice within the UK. Cheers Grahame πŸ™‚ Piccies! -
  18. Pretty much, although it has a nice regulated DC heater supply. I actually copied the supply for my own scratch built preamp and very quiet it is too.
  19. And valves Dude, don't forget the valves!! 😁
