I used to use the pedal as an 'always on' pedal with my older fender jazz bass as it made the tone sound gorgeous, but could also be used as a volume boost pedal with eq, the tone from this pedal is lovely and warm. I recently had all of the knobs and switches replaced with the upgraded versions as the mute switch had cracked, so now in excellent condition. There is a small surface scratch on the top of the amp (see pics) but other than that it is perfect.
