Total Watts

  1. measured it at 21mm at the 1st fret. Not sure if these quick shots will give an idea of the profile.
  2. It really is amazing how these things go. i actually had a USA Lakland JO which had the best neck i ever played and sold it as i didn't 'love' it.. makes no sense, but it is what it is. The Moon is giving me a buzz in these early days of owning it. Not sure I got that from the Lakland. I'll measure the depth of the neck at the 1st fret later. My 'Bat' description is really about the roundness and depth of the C profile. It's why the guy i got it from sold it! Maybe @jay-syncro can chime in. A newer JB4 might have a different profile altogether
  3. I just landed a 1998 JB4A, which may not be what you are asking about, but I can add that, blimey it's killer. @BlueMoon is indeed correct about the weight. mine is ash bodied and weights a tonne.. well 5.2kg but it´s weighty. Fortunately for me, I don´t mind a heavy bass. Mine has the Bartolini 9s pups and the NTCT Bart pre amp. It's made for slap (with its mid cut), but mids can be boosted from the board, and finger style, it's warm and fat. Quality in every aspect. But the neck is also fat. It has a full C (jazz width) profile and feels like a slender bass ball bat. Very similar the BB in the picture in fact. Here again, lucky for me I like em fat, thin, wide or narrow.. Maybe newer Moons have a sallower profile?
  4. Since this one has the compressor circuit not the drive circuit i don't think this is a Forte D?. I'm not too up that au fait with Bergantino stuff, but i assume this model pre-dates the current Forte D. I think the EQ centers might be different.. could be wrong. nice amp though
  5. weight added in the description. 4.3 kg
  6. Thanks, It's used as the website illustration for the progress Standard series. it is indeed 35" scale. I shall have to add the weight later, but it's certainly not on the weighty side.
  7. A lovely Overwater progress iv Standard 5er from 2017. A dream of a bass. This one with figured Olive top. Weighing in at 4.3kg or 9.5 ib The actual bass featured in the video. One or two light marks, but other wise in really nice condition with Overwater hard case. I´m based in Norway, but due a visit home soon and will bring this by hand. Thanks for looking. Looking for decent jazz or a Glockenklang amp if a trade is of interest
  8. Sorry, I was remiss, and a bit bloody busy. Was a fine answer that did learn me something 🤩
  9. Nice Bass mate, Forgive my ignorance, but why the visible (ground?) wire to the bridge?
  10. This has likely surfaced before, but anyway, a seldom direct comparison.. Which one has it for you?
  11. I picked up a progress IV 5 here in Norway and watched Dans review several time just a few weeks ago.. I tried to watch again last week and it was removed for breaching community guidelines.. wtf?
  12. Be sure to drop some pics 👍
