1.
Others to try if SFX doesnt meat your fancy: Bright Onion pedals, DHA, or COG.
Thanks! I'll take a look on their sites
The closest pedal i know is the Boss Ls2...
Nah i've looked at the LS2 and it won't do what I need unfortunately!
 2.
What do you want to hear through it in bypass mode? Edit: SFX
When it's in Bypass mode, i want it to bypass the effects loop and just be the 2 signals coming in from the B7K -thank you for the link to SFX!
 3.
I doubt anyone makes it. What overdrive pedal is it? I bet SFX could make one for you
Sorry, who are SFX? I just googled it and got a Si-Fi magazine haha! And the overdrive is the Darkglass B7K but I wanted to use the parallel out to go to an EQ pedal that's essentially acting like a high pass filter and only allowing the low end through to really fill out the sound. On it's own it does sound great as said, i just wanted to add back some of those lows.
 4. Hey every one I've been trying to find a pedal lately that offers the following: Blendable dual input with single out but also with a true bypass effects loop? Reason is, my overdrive pedal sounds great with the blend control thats on it but i've found if you run the blend on full and use the parallel out with a different EQ (this is my recording technique but i just use an EQ plug in on Logic 9) then you get a really full sound and basically, it sounds perfect to me. Also, i want the pedal to have an effects loop so i can add in my wah and fuzz pedals at a single push. Obviously for that reason, i'd like it to be true bypass. Here's my awesome Paintbrush diagram I just made for a rough example... If anyone knows of such thing, please let me know!
 5. PEDAL TRAIN NANNNOOOOOOOOO PLUS I bought this pedal train nano+ off a friend a few days ago, paid £35 for it but that was before i decided on how many pedals I wanted so now it's basically surplus to requirement haha. He sold it as he bought one too many pedals to fit on it and i stupidly bought it on an impulse. Anyway, as said, paid £35 so looking to get £25 back for it. No damage on it and it has two strips of velcro already fitted along with a roll of velcro in the carry case. Postage will probably be around £6 or collection is welcome.
 6. As part of my rack clear out, my Behringer PL2000 is next! Works perfectly fine, one or two scratches here and there but nothing major. The front light works perfectly too. All ports on the back work and it's never let me down. Looking for £30 plus postage or collection from Bedfordshire.
 7.
Depending on if you need a DI or not, the Zoom MS60-B has many different effects on it, all in one Boss sized pedal. You can use four effects at a time I believe, so even two of those would cover most areas.
I've got the Darkglass B7K as my DI out Lozz but thanks for the heads up! My new set up as off today (some are yet to arrive but have been ordered) is: MXR Power Brick Korg Pitchblack Tuner Darkglass Super Symmetry Darkglass B7K Dunlop Bass Wah EHX Bass Big Muff Digitech Multi-Voice Chorus/Boss Super Chorus (I tend to switch at the moment) Boss DD-3 Delay
 8. I'll try not to go on too long on this one. This last week has been a strange one for me in terms of my bass playing and my equipment. Since I was 18, I've had all my bass amp gear rack mounted. Wireless, effects, amps, even the couple of pedals I had in my rig but due to health issues (I have pretty bad damage to my back), I've switched completely to pedals. In the space of 1 week, I've sold off all of my rack rig to replace it with the pedals. So yeah, i've replaced all that stuff with a Darkglass B7K & Compressor, Boss Chorus & Delay, EHX Bass Muff and Jim Dunlop wah (the latter 2 were part of my set up anyway). It just feels weird to be giving up using a rack set up and going to pedals. The realisation came when travelling to a band practise 2 weeks ago and having to lug my rack case on to the track along with my bass. By the time I got there, my back was in total agony and practise was a little uncomfortable. What's even worse is that my tone was the best i've ever heard it. Once I got home, I just ended up laying down for a few hours and necking pain pills! What i ended up doing was designing out a board that would fit in a laptop bag and took up looking which pedals I could achieve the same sound or better with which is why I ended up with what I've ordered. I know it seems like my basses could be the problem but I mainly use a Jackson bass which has quite a light weight body so that's my main one to use over a long period. My other go to bass isa Tobias which is slightly on the heavy side but balanced nicely so doesn't feel heavy if you get where i'm coming from? Sorry to go on a bit, it's just a bit of a strange feeling changing what i'm so used to haha.
 9. Fake. You can see the headstock logo is a waterslide and there's no "built in" decal on the back of the headstock
 10. Hi roman, haha yeah i'm definitely plugging in to the right output. Something has gone wrong on it, i had a power cut and was using the pedal on a PSU, not a battery. I would take a guess that something on the inside may have broken. I'm really not sure! I've already bought a replacement so i'm not going to bother opening it up plus i don't know what i'm doing anyway so if someone wants to buy it to take a look at, they're more than welcome!
 11. Damn it! If that Fuel Tank did 18v, i'd take it off you as I need a pedaltrain mini and power supply. Typical as i'm in Bedfordshire too! Good luck with the sale dude.
 12. Sorry to reopen an old thread but does anyone know if this mod works on the newer Nano Bass Big Muff? Thanks!
 13. Hey guys Selling off my rack mount set up to switch over to pedals because for ease of transport and because i suffer from some bad back damage. Here i'm offering out my Korg DTR-1000. This has been a main stay in my rig for 8 years. Never gone wrong, never been abused and always provided spot on tuning. Asking £50 plus postage for it. No pictures as i'm sure every one knows what they look like. Thanks SOLD
 14. Hey guys Offering this out to any one who likes to tinker or just wants it for spare parts. My Boss CH-1 super chorus has died. -queue sad music- so instead of messing with it, i'm just going to offer it out to anyone who wants to see if they know what's wrong and fix it. If it's a simple fix, you've got a wicked chorus pedal for £15. If not, then, well, keep it for spares or something? I don't know what's wrong with it, the light comes on when you plug in a battery or PSU and you get your pure bass signal but you don't get any "chorus" on top of that so I don't know what's died. £15 posted to your door! No box i'm afraid but will be packed very well. Not that i suppose that matters... haha!

 17.
Jeysus, somebody charged actual money for that work? Looks like freehand dremel work. Name and shame!!
I don't think it's fair to name and shame but this person is Bedfordshire based so please do research before hand is you're around here haha.
That really is bad, especially from someone who charges money for such things. I'm a complete amateur and I managed to fit a battery box to my Yamaha SBV500 without butchering the thing. My battery box screwed into the bottom of the hole though - maybe one like I used might rectify the situation?
That's a really good job you've done there, I did consider one of those type by the body of my bass is too thin for one of those. So, I've gone for a temporary measure... found an old pick guard and made this: Doesn't look too bad and it'll do the job for now. Need to find 4 matching screws though haha! Thanks to the suggestion of the musicman styled one which gave me the influence for this
 18.
Sounds like the best solution for this is to get a custom made plate made and get that let into the back to rest on a lip: in the same way as most control covers do. You will then have a choice of either have to remove screws to change battery, or mount the battery box into the cover. The latter would look odd but it's serviceable.
If i manage to get the route tidied and a lip with a cover put in to it, then I won't worry about having a battery box fitted as that will make it look "smart and uniform" again. Yours is a good idea though!
A simple less sophisticated solution is a surface mounted plate (early Musicman Sabre style) that just sits on the back surface. No reccess needed, the plate can be large enough to hide the 'mess'.

That would be my solution. A piece of Pickguard material larger than the hole and suitable shaped and jobs a good un. Or a piece of Pickguard material to cover the hole and a cut out to accept the battery box.
The old surface mount idea would be a good one but the other control cavity is flush mount (and i know this is going to sound stupid) so my OCD would forever pick at me knowing it's not the same haha. I have an old 1ply black pick guard laying around though so I may cut that up for temporary measure just so I stop using a piece of foam to cover it
 19. Some of the solutions on here are greatly appreciated, thank you. I haven't been online for a few days because of work so that's why I haven't been on to reply on here. I am considering making the bass 18v as it is running two EMG MMCS-X pickups as well as the EMG BTS 2 band EQ (Sounds so damn good btw!) so it would make sense to do that. The guy I took it to WAS a "professional" so had no excuses for the mess he made. I considered the double Gotoh battery box but now surely it won't cover up the mistake that's been made as I think he's actually made it too long as well as too wide, the single box didn't cover the hole at all? A lot to ponder at the moment!
 20.
What a hideous job he did! I'd be glad to help, but you can probably find someone closer, as posting a neck through bass is no fun. It's not a difficult or lengthy job for anyone with any experience.
Thank you for your reply and yeah, it is a hideous job Out of interest, how much would you charge to sort out this mess as I do have a hard case and as said before, could see about possibly couriering it. Thanks again!
 21.
Ouch... That's no help, I know. But good luck!
As you can tell, i'm not too pleased with it. Had been looking for a long time to get one of these basses, knew I wanted to change it to active so wasn't too worried about that but didn't realise there wouldn't be space for a battery. That'll teach me next time! It's one of these beauties. Has a Badass II bridge and Hipshot HB6-C 3/8 ultralites fit to it. Moved the front strap button to cure neck dive and it's... better but not perfect haha. Sounds and plays beautiful though.
 22. Hey everyone. I could do with someone's expertise and help. I have a BC Rich Mockingbird bass that I fitted an EMG pre amp in to but didn't then have room for a battery so I took it to someone to have them route in a hole for a Gotoh single battery box. He managed to mis-measure and now the battery box won't screw in as there's no wood for the screws to screw in to. Not only that but the top of the battery box doesn't actually cover the route hole. Obviously, I didn't pay the guy for this once I saw it but now I actually don't play my bass as I'm so annoyed with the mess. What I need is someone who can either route a lip in to the bass for a plastic cover to go in to just like you have with a normal control cavity. Attached below is a picture of the "work" for you to see. If anyone can do this, I would be so appreciative. I'm based in Bedfordshire but if need be, I'll see about having the bass sent off unless anyone knows of anyone in Bedfordshire that can do it? Thanks in advance.
