3. EDITED - NOW WITH FREE CASE AS I WANT SOMETHING DECENT TO SHIP THE BASS IN. Fender Squire VJM Fretless with custom work done by RP Guitars http://www.rptech.f2s.com/ Work involved machining up a brass nut from billet bar, fitting a heavier duty bridge, ( i already had that from another bass ) routing for 2 custom Aaron Armstrong humbuckers, wiring up the switching and pots. The Aaron Armstrong humbuckers have 6 tags, permitting Series, Single Coil and Parallel switching, plus a separate earthing tag mounted on the underside of the sealed pickup bodies. Both bridge and neck pups have the same Series / Single Coil / Parallel switching. The original Vol Vol Tone remains Currently strung with DR Red Devils, hence the weird colour ( missing red coating - it happens to all DR coloured strings ) There is a small mark on the back of the body ( in photo ) There's also a small mark on the front of the body, ( in photo ) Pricing for a one off isnt easy, but starting at around £150 for a standard used VJM, plus the custom work which totalled £275 ...Cost of pups, routing, on-on-on switches, brass nut, wiring, set up etc, works out to £425 , so i'll knock £50 off the the cost of the custom stuff £375 ( £150 + £225 for custom work ) ..... NOW £325 Prefer collection, ( Oxfordshire ) but postage is ok, but i'll need to source some proper packing. Fully insured only, about £25-£30 Pics of the AA pups underneath Some sound clips , myself and pal on guitar , just noodling - nowt special http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8750150 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7509632 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7509629 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8071360

 8. Nice solid lump of wood for bass project. I've had this for 2 years or so, and simply havent got round to having a custom bass built around it. Originally bought from fine Scots Luthier Skelf, it comprises of a 33mm block of Black Limba / Black Korina + a 7mm cap of American Claro Walnut. Main size is 570mm x 370mm. As you'd expect, Skelf had this properly dried and assembled. I paid £160 for this but cant rember if that was postage paid or not, which was a bargain anyways. £125 including postage - REDUCED £110 Some pics , including some close ups. Has always been kept in the house, tung oiled by myself to keep in perfect condition, what with central heating and stuff.
