I can't be the only one itching to work out what the average is.
It won’t work because we’ve lost the correct number twice so far!

I think this thread is a perfect example of the "Stop Posting Without Reading" thing...

The Brum store is a proper cavern, but they’ve suffered by being on the edge of the CAZ (same with Guitar Guitar out past Five Ways.)

It’s Mexican according to the product pics so a bit steep but I suppose it is an sig model and slightly different spec. However if you’re right handed surely it should be a left handed model you flip upside down?Good point. I guess they don't want to be confusing people the same way they did with the Hendrix Strat and Cobain Jagstang thingies.... wait...

I mean the colour scheme is a little indiscrete for sure - but that pickup/preamp combo and that neck, 'Cor Matron...' And it's not even as much as I was expecting for a US-made signature (it's bad that I was expecting it to be £2k+).

RHCP - Return of the Dream Canteen - brand new album. It's pretty good, better than their last couple of outings. First listen and def. a few decent songs on there straightaway, will listen a few more time to get into it (it's a long album!)

Wow! Ace day and story.
Imagine if you’d said in the booth: heard this one? And plonked out one of his lines…
”s’alright,” he says, “geezer wrote a nice line.”

Shell Pink Jack doesn't really work for me ...
How about 'Really Rather Happy Jack' or 'Delighted Jack' etc.?
When do we get to see pics of it in its natural environment under disco lights?

That's so nice @Happy Jack will need to upgrade the adjective prefix in his username...

Neoliberalism isn't a conspiracy, it is an ideology:
"The Bank of England has decided to buy debt from oil companies such as BP, Shell and Total. The government has given easyJet a £600m loan, even though, just a few weeks ago, the company frittered away £171m in dividends: profit is privatised, risk is socialised. In the US, the first bailout includes $25 billion for airlines. The government is sucking as much oil as possible into strategic petroleum reserves and sweeping away pollution laws, while freezing out renewable energy. Several European countries are seeking to rescue their airlines and car manufacturers..."

It's exactly what the present government are pathologically persuing...
You are right about that bit - just look at what some UK and US universities are doing with their neoliberal bent - removing any arts/humanities degrees that don't generate enough money and becoming profitable business schools, with alowance for science where they can pull in massive grants and sponsorship.
-
They just need to print off a chart that lists Kgs against Lbs oz - if healthcare can manage it for baby/young child checks....

Well possibly, but that is the way it was back then, can't blame the students. You could blame the government of the day for removing the funding though. Education used to be free, my wife did a librarianship degree back in the day, you need one to be a librarian, and it was free, and you got a grant. Without the grant she would not have been able to study. Apparently now we can't afford higher education, so it's become an industry. I believe employers should be training their staff, as they will benefit from it.
CFO: Look at this training budget? It's so high. What happens if we train all these staff and they leave?
CEO: What happens if we don't train them and they stay?!
I started Uni in 1995 - I think I was pretty much the last year's entry of zero tuition. And the same for grants, which part paid my accomodation. My Dad took out some War Bonds (remember those?!) and the ridiculously generous 12 1/4% interest paid for my food and the rest of my rent. I took the maximum loans (which I only finished paying off 2 years ago at fairly low interest) and never had to work during Uni. I had it easy!!
I remember those careers quizzes - we had a whole morning to do one with hundreds (probably not that many) of multiple-choice questions. Mine told me to become a Teacher or an Accountant. School and Family basically pushed me into Finance. I hated it, and would much rather have done Geology or Marine Biology or something fun.
Post your pedal board - Basschat style!!
