Oh - I did not know it was a proper thing. I have a clicky left thumb, which I feel the need to click to correct every now and then. I do have stiff fingers in a few fingers some mornings when I wake, which is also weird.

Their filtering is very last-gen at the moment, yeah
As well as dedicated landing pages for brands, they could do with using a faceted search instead [e.g. John Lewis].
But these are all things that can be added as the platform matures
Yeah - I guess they might have opted first to have a website that's at least in the current Century, then they can see how it looks, get some feedback and then decide how to bring it into the current Decade

I prefer the filtering options on the new layout. I can sort by high to low price and goggle at the items I can't afford. Some pre-stomped pedals I've never seen before too.
It looks professional and therefore more trustworthy. The last one looked like I could have knocked it up with a week's HTML/Webpage training...

It that not just an octave pedal that will do the octave note as well or can it do just the low note?
It has a dry knob. turn it down, and turn Sub 1 or Sub 2 up and boom. Or rather, Blatt...

I know there was a desert scene, but you know that Palm Springs isn't like a fountain and a few big houses, right? The city is nearly 250 square km. Four times bigger than Manhattan. Twice as big as Manchester. At least.
This is one of those stories that does the rounds every once in while, this idea that Sinatra roused up a few Italian/American arm-bending mafia-types who knocked up venues going, 'Nice little business you have here, you wouldn't want anything to happen to it, would you?' is preposterous.
It was significantly smaller back then. It’s growing at a daft rate: considering it’s pointlessly hot 8 months a year and there’s ever less water.

Sadly not. They get sent to charity if they are packed up but the ones that are still up get sent to landfill
Decathlon (and I don't think they're the only one) offer a return system for specific used tents - they have a festival one for £0 and if you bring it back in decent condition you get a £30 voucher.

This whole festival thing has become an abomination. So we wake up this morning to images of acres and acres of filth and rubbish left behind by this new "environmentally enlightened generation, for as far as the eye can see. Its over the love in the sun thing which is where it all started is over its finished. Time to ban all festivals. If ur not disgusted by this then....well, I give up.
It all gets cleared up. Every last scrap. The site team will be taking it all down for days yet. I doubt there’s enough bins to put it all in by the end of the festival.
leaving tents behind is lazy though.

Opening with Pinball Wizard and some epic soloing on the Flying V (I think?). Epic.

Ok. Watching Rick’s main set now. Drumming to Highway to Hell (and singing). He even twirls the sticks. Ok. I’m giving up playing…

QOTSA on the other stage are worth a watch. They're flinging out great tunes, sound massive and seem to be in great form from all of the live footage I've seen from this tour. Love em!
They played the Piece Hall here in Halifax last week; my mate and his lad went and said they were great.

Rick was wasted on high gloss pop. This is brilliant! What a performer and voice.

Watching the Rick and Blossoms set on iPlayer.
i could never have imagined that the chap who tortured my ears with his pop stylings on the car radio when I was 11 or 12, would be drinking Jager and Red Stripe mid set before telling himself off for coming in too early and belting out Smiths hits (he was 18 when their 1st album came out so he must have those tracks worn into his brain.)

Fripp, Wilcox and band are on the acoustic stage, doing metal covers…

I regret never going to Glastonbury.
With the crazy demand and hype nowadays I doubt I’ll ever get the chance.
However, every year I smear h as much of it as I can in the Big British Castle.
And every year I love it.
No different this year. Day 1 has been excellent.
Foos (I’m not a fan)
Unknown mortal orchestra
Carly Rae Jespen (never heard of her)
Billynomates (first ever listen)
All been excellent.
Royal Blood …..🥱
It really is a magical weekend.
Right, I’m off to have too many shrooms and sleep in my garden. ✌️
Carly Rae Jepsen: Call Me Maybe, massive hit in err 2011 and I Really Like You in 2015 (Tom Hanks was the lead in the music video). She’s had loads of albums and she’s Canadian. Ooh she also did music and voixe acting on the animated film Ballerina (I have 3 daughters…)
Phew, that’s my pop knowledge exhausted for the evening.
