1. It's the guitar one. You probably want the bass one I guess....
 2.
Yes its the kidney version. Is it the guitar or bass ME50?
3. Hi. Is this the kidney version or rack? I'm guessing kidney. I have a Boss ME50 I'm about to put on EBay; would that fit the description of the pedalboard you are after?
 4.
Hi there, A Line6 Bass PodXT for sale or trade, you all know what it does. Loads of amp, cab and effect sims, plus a tuner and a compressor, with more tweakability than anyone realistically needs... or at least more than I do, hence the sale. I don't spend much time in the studio so I need something more foot-controllable. It also has an (official Line6) carry case, to transport it in style, as well as the power supply and manual. In perfect working condition, and it is even the more recent model with the better Line6 logo. I would like a straight sale or a trade for any of the following options (+ cash either way if appropriate, in descending order of appeal): Aphex bass xciter MXR bass di Dod FX25( A decent (non-Behringer) delay with tap tempo A medium-large pedal board Tech21 XXL bass Or try me if there's anything else you want to get rid of and I'll let you know... I'll send pics if anyone would like to see it. Happy to meet & let you have a go if you want. Cheers, randymussel
5.
I have a couple of P bodies. I want a 5 string P. I know that there are all sorts of issues with wider bridges, routing for bigger pick ups etc etc. However, can anyone think of a good reason NOT to have a neck made that would be 5 string width but chamfered at the heel to fit into a 4 string pocket. The fingerboard would hang over each side of the neck pocket. I could just rout out the body, but I am not sure which body will work with the neck and I want to keep my options open. I am open to accusations that I have too much time on my hands.
Hey, don't listen to the doubters. I bought a really nice 5 string neck off Ebay (CH Guitars) and I already had a standard alder Precision-type body sitting round doing nothing. I routed the neck out no problem and yes the neck overhangs a little and you have to move it back a bit into the body but it looks great. I fixed the overhang with some veneer so no more overhang. I've nearly finished it and it plays and sounds great. I wanted to keep the P-bass look and struggled to find a 5 string set of pickups. Bartolini do them (very expensive) and Lace do an Alumitone lookalike which is expensive, but cheaper than the Bartolini so I bought one form the States (they are rare here). There are plenty of very cheap soapbar pickups around. Axesrus sell bass machine heads as singles so you can get what you want and 5 string bridges are easy to get. Go for it
 6. Hi. WHat's the ABS rack make and what would it cost to post? Where is your location?
I've recently got an endorsment with Orange which has meant ditching my rack gear as the orange head alone weighs an absolute ton by itself!! SANSAMP RPM This is about 3 months old in mint condition and in perfect working order. I'm actually gutted that I have to sell this but needs must. This is the same sansamp that geddy lee uses and for good reason. It sounds amazing.. from cool svt tones to full on grindy distortion. It has a parametric EQ which is very handy and two xlr outs - one sansamp and one unaffected, which were handy in studio situations. These cost about £350 new.. so considering it's condition etc I'm looking for £290 for it. Korg DTR 2000 Rack Tuner Top of the range Kord Tuner. This is the industry standard rack tuner. Tunes very accurately even down to a low B. Has a lot of different modes of tunings and features. Has a rack light built in to light up gear below it. The tuner is in good condition and fully working order.. I does have some rack rash on the top and bottom from being put into racks but ocne put into a rack you dont see this. Cost about £180 new - looking for £90 ABS 6U FLIGHTCASE Good condition.. hold up to 6U. Had for about a year and has served my gear well! £20
7. I only just got your reply. I can't fit my Yamaha powere amp into the SKB so yes, it would be too shallow. It's designed for FX and preamps an dthe like really.
Okay, so I recently put together my rack - it has a lovely Ampeg/QSC setup in it, and I'm happy as pie with it. I bought a 4u rack case from someone on here, thinking it would give me room to grow (the pre/poweramp only takes up 3u). But really... why do I need to grow? I don't need any fancy rack gadgets - all my tuners, compressors and effects are in pedal form, and if I ever change pre/power amp in this setup, I'd be looking to downsize to a 1u power amp, if anything. True to form, I bought something basically just to fill in the extra space! So yeah, I bought a Samson PB11 Powerbrite Power Conditioner off Dan_Nailed on this forum about 3 weeks ago. To be honest, I haven't even plugged it in or even racked it! It is a bit overkill having 10 IEC sockets and a light when I only have two things in my rack tbh. Original sale thread with details and pictures can be found here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21496 This will give you a far better idea of it than I could, as I haven't even used it. It was GAS for a light basically! £50 posted? Justabout gets back what I paid for it, and then I can buy some new pedals instead! Chuck in the leads Dan gave me as well. And as already mentioned, I have a 4u Boschma rack case. No pictures at the moment, but looks like this... To stop me hulking round a case that I don't need, and to reduce the future buying of rack gadgets (it is always so tempting to fill up the space!), I'm looking to do a straight swap for any other 3u rack case. Not looking for a flightcase, or a rack bag, just an ABS plastic one. Gator/Boschma etc. Alternatively, I'll sell for what I paid for it - £70. So if there's anyone out there with a large-ish rack which needs powering/illuminating or has a 2/3u rack that needs enlarging to fit more stuff into, then drop me a line! Cheers, Chris
8. Hi. I need to upgrade my 3U rack to 4U as I end up putting one of my units on top. It is an SKB 3U shallow though and may be a little shallow for your amp/s. It has hardly been used outside of my house at this stage but if it is of any use, a swap will save me buying one (if you still have it of course).
 9. Hi. how much would shipping be for the neck and would it be insured? Cheers
