£500 - ono Hello everyone, I posted this about a week ago and no one seemed interested so I'm setting a price and posting on here before it heads on to ebay I'm sure if you're looking at this you know these beasts are serious basses, ill give a quick run down anyway: - 5 String - It's the standard model WITH the active/passive switch so you have the choice there - ASH body and Wenge fingerboard - Awesome colour! (I do love it) - Bolt on neck, Just a nut II, and Warwick 2 piece bridge Its not without its buckle rash though, picture should show this. It's a really booming bass, the range of tones is insane! However the reason for sale is that I just can't seem to get along with 5 strings I haven't had it all that long but I just never use it, I always just go back to the good ol' precision - can't beat em I live in North Devon in a place called Barnstaple, pick up would be great although I'm sure some sort of postage could be sorted......Just got to find a big enough box!

Bad news guys, I went to exeter today to try out a five string but I didnt get a chance I went to mansons and they had a sr505 which was similar to the one i wanted, so I asked if i could have a go (they were quite busy) and they asked if I was buying today and I said proberly not, so they said they can't make someone else hurry up unless i was going to buy Not to mention I was on a time limit cause I had to get my bro to drive me there and he was getting pretty bored, and after trying the other music shops in town (which none had anything similar) he was VERY bored and wanted to leave bad times

damn, looks like my blue ibanez is out the window I will head to mansons on thursday, see if I can find and have a go one one before I end up getting one. Getting it from canada seemed like a half decent idea before then lols!

Thanks for all the replys, has been very helpful! anyway there is one on ebay in blue moon which looks sweet as and I have e-mailed the seller and he seems like a good guy 100 positive and what not. However it works out to be £2 more to order from canada than what it would be to get it from dv247 here, but as I say in the better colour. But another problem is that I am going on holiday on sat for a week and he said that the delivery would take about a week, so no one will be in! lols I reli prefer the bluee moon colour over the black tho

Hello guys, I have a bit of dilemma well its not really but anyway..... So i want a 5 string and the look of an ibanez is appealing and i have the money its just I have a bad rep for getting one then selling it around a month later cause I dont ever use it. I've never had a 5 string before and the bass I use at the moment is a Fender usa P which I love to bits. But I cant stop looking at 5 strings on the net and in shops etc any thoughts? anybody had the same problem?

Hello I need your help again! My USA p really needs a new bag, I got one with it which is a fender one but it isnt really padded that well, and my bass is showing that its been knocked in places from not enough padding. Anyway I would go for a hardcase but I hate carrying them, so its gotta be a soft one! I owned an italia rimini bass and when I tried it in the shop I was like, wow this is so kool im so having it. Got it home, then sold it within the month thinking to myself, what WAS I thinking?! They look sweet but the tone just isnt there, and Im such a sucker for my usa p bass

Hello!! My name is Ted and I'm a 17 (nearly 18!) bass player/singer! Anyway its great to be back on a bass forum, I was on Bassworld but it got shut down SO long ago that I had given up hope on finding another one, and talking to the americans on talk bass or whatever it is annoys me, haha! However as I say its great to be back amongst fellow bass players and chat BASS mmmmmm

Hey guys, I currently have usa precision but I really want a 5 string bass. I tired out an SR505 in my local and I reli liked it, but the wood on the body annoyed me cause it was already chipping away. I really like the look of the SR705 and was just wondering if its a good one to go for and if it sounds like the 505 a tall? I reli like the SR535 but I can't seem to find one in the UK

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody knew any other good UK shops for Bass/Guitars etc etc I know of GAK, DV27 and ebay which I use often, but are there any other real good ones which im missing out on? Oh Im looking for ibanez sr705 / 535 if thats any help! Thanks!!
