@petetexas I could buy one second hand at a good price given where I live. But I have some questions for an experienced user if it's not too much of a hassle: 1. Does the drivers and editor work well with Windows 10 2. Does the editor allow to insert (re-order) presets between others. 3. Which problems / Limits did you encounter? Preset manager is very important for me, as I have 6 basses and I usually create my own presets. Also for concerts, I reorganize the presets to be consecutive following the setlist. (As a bad example, with the Hotone Ampero, to do this , you have to save your presets one by one individually, and reload them one by one as you cannot move them in the editor... A real lost of time)

@Karrlander, thank you for all the description and explanations. I'm thinking about buying one, but I use 4 different basses, so I'm wondering how much of the original tone this pedal does respect. I've been using a lot of different digital pedals and I found that some of them sound almost th same no matter what bass you plugin. Also I'd like to know how is the dynamic response. Well, some effects aimed at guitar can be usable for bass. I use a boss gt100 and it's easy to create presets for bass with it.

One year later I wonder if any member have experience using this with a bass.

I hown the red version of this bass. The sound is a bit dark compared to other basses. And yes the volume jump from passive to active is big. But you can always use the preamp in negative to prevent that. The preamp is not very powerful, I expected something better from MarkBass. It's an interesting bass, it sounds a bit vintage. I like it. But it has a lot of neck dive, which make it difficult to play, specially sitting. I'm planning to change the bridge and the tuners to get it balanced, but I'm not sure if it worth it, as spending 200 euros on a 300 euros bass seems a bit disproportionate... Overall, I'm a bit disappointed, as I own a Cort GB 75, which is really an excellent bass. I thought this one would have the same quality/price ratio, but no.
