I strung a GL1500 (its four string brother) with pyramid flats the other day and WoW! all the richness, tone and depth you would want.
These are fabulous basses, and I suspect, due to its more central positioning, the single pickup is not a drawback, but actually provides some tonal advantages over its 2 pickup brothers .
Good luck with the sale !
PS Whats FF to the uninitiated ?? -

What a beautiful subtle and gorgeous colour. Are the EMGs original ? and how does the L2500 compare tonewise with the 5500?. We'd be intrigued to know. -
Make me an offer if you're interested, before it goes to the 'Bay
Send in a hardcase. I'd hate to see that get damaged.
Regardless, surprised it hasn't flown off the shelf, that's a very attractive bass and price.
Youre absolutely right. Hard case (a basic one) now offered in the price !
Ive had lots of enquiries, but no firm offer yet.
PM'ed...
Thanks David for the PM. For the benefit of others, David asked if it came with a case. Its a soft case but the he bass has been kept in a hard case all the time I have had it, and from its condition, probably throughout its life. Obviously if its shipped I'll pack it to death to avoid any damage in transit.
Best wishes

Dear Farrokh
Sorry, Im not considering trades at present. I'd prefer a cash offer from the UK, but Ill consider shipping to other countries if I dont get one.

Thank you ! Lets hope it becomes someones early christmas ( damn I said it !) present. -
Aye. It's a shame to tempt us with something gorgeous and then whisk it away. As ephemeral as a pint in Kuwait I fear.

I bought a used Tascam Bass trainer from James. It was a really straightforward and easy transaction and he was a good guy. The Trainer was reasonably priced, it was in superb condition, carefully packed and it arrived exactly as described, the next day. I was so chuffed I sent him an extra fiver to cover his postage costs, which he had generously included in the purchase price. Communication was excellent throughout, he kept me informed at every stage.
I have nothing but praise. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
