Suppose it’s the crazy times we are living in atm.

I use parcelforce drop off at post office

No waiting in and they give you proof of posting

Top Tip: Preempt these scammers by removing the value of what they hold over you. Make your own video of yourself having a barclays and send it to all of your contacts before they have a chance to send theirs EXACTLY

(you got a exceptionally odd taste btw lmao)

I own the whole recording. If perhaps youthink I am messing around, just reply proof and I will be forwarding the particular recording randomly to 9 people yourecognize.

It may end up being your friend, coworkers, boss, parents (I don't know! My software program will randomly select thecontacts).

Would you be capable to look intoanyone's eyes again after it? I question that...

But, it does not have to be that route.

I would like to make you a one time, nonegotiable offer.

Buy $ 2000 in bitcoin and send it to thedown below address:

As above, it's just a phishing email. Delete and block.

It's worth checking out 'Have I been Pwned'. Totally legit site, set up by a well respected guy in our industry. There you can check email addresses and passwords you've used previously to see which ones are out there and make sure you've retired them.

    Thanks for that

If having checked an email address using the site and finding that the email has been compromised what do you then do?

    Simply change the password?

  5. Got this the other day from [email protected]

I have had this type of email before and know what to do

I am posting this in case anyone has received similar from Mr Travis Farmer and is bothered or worried by this rsoll

I know, xxxxxxx, is your password. You don't know me and you're thinking why you received this e mail, right?

Well, I actually placed a malware on the porn website and guess what, you visited this web site to have fun (you know what Imean). While you were watching the video, your web browser acted as a RDP (Remote Desktop) and a keylogger which provided me access to your display screen and webcam. Right after that, my software gathered all your contacts from your Messenger, Facebook account, and email account.

    What exactly did I do?

I made a split-screen video. First part recorded the video you were viewing (you've got a fine taste haha), and next part recorded your webcam (Yep! It's you doing nasty things!).

    What should you do?

Well, I believe, $1900 is a fair price for our little secret. You'll make the payment via Bitcoin to the below address (if you don't know this, search "how to buy bitcoin" in Google).

    BTC Address:
    bc1quugszzrw7x9f6pnz2j08rhyyl4yz3nv3jneuag
(It is cAsE sensitive, so copy and paste it)

    Important:

You have 24 hours in order to make the payment. (I have an unique pixel within this email message, and right now I know that you have read this email). If I don't get the payment, I will send your video to all ofyour contacts including relatives, coworkers, and so forth. Nonetheless, if I do get paid, I will erase the video immidiately. If you want evidence, reply with "Yes!" and I will send your video recording to your 5 friends. This is a non-negotiable offer, so don't waste my time and yours by replying to this email.

Just a bit of fun. 20 simple yes or no type questions but please feel free to elaborate if you have a good bass playing related tale inspired by a question. I have, on a whim, chosen 20 all of which I could answer (surprisingly in some cases) with a yes.

01 Ever played a gig sitting down? YES

02 Ever gigged on a different instrument? NO

03 Ever shared a stage with a musical hero of yours? NO

04 Any fan ever had a tatoo of your band's logo? YES

05 Ever signed an autograph in a dressing room? NO

06 Ever cried on stage? NO

07 Ever worn a hat on stage? NO

08 Ever gigged with a band you hadn't met before the gig? YES

09 Ever been in a relationship with a fellow band member? NO

10 Ever played in different bands on the same day? NO

11 Ever had anything thrown at you while playing? NO

12 Ever crashed on the way to the gig? NO

13 Ever left a band over the choice of set list? NO

14 Ever slept in the venue despite it not being a hotel? NO

15 Ever been supported by a band clearly better than you? NO

16 Ever played a gig suffering from some debilitating medical condition?

    YES

17 Ever been in a band where the guitarist was your favourite bandmate? YES

It was indeed Ron Wood who played bass and seemingly every other instrument apart from mandolin, which was played by one of the Lindisfarne guys according to an interview with Ron from Classic Rock magazine online.

Wood or Lane I like the bass playing

Guitarists can make good bass players

Both Hendrix and the Killers know this to be true

No hard and fast rules with Fender, but read the text under the red Jazz Bass in this link http://www.guitarhq.com/fenderc.html

Sure you’re aware, Fender factory was inconsistent, plus often used old stock. And of course, looking for those other clues too of a respray

Because of this I wonder how many Fenders have been wrongly treated and priced as being original when they are not and how many have been wrongly treated and priced as being non original when they were intact original?

Bass on Maggie May was played by Ronnie Wood.

    Google says not

Personally I love Ronnie Lanes bass playing

I agree it may seem raw and unpolished but I like it and his bass lines are quite unusual which to me makes him stand out as a bass player

    I rate him highly

I don’t know enough about Fenders of that period to comment. However, I can say that a friend of mine has an 83 jazz, which is an awful bass. I’ve never played a Fullerton model (to the best of my knowledge), but I’ve heard other people say that and I’m sure that you’re right.

However, there was obviously a demand in the late 70s for Roger to improve stock Fenders and then to produce his own ‘Fenders on steroids’ basses. He seems to have created a market for high quality Fender type basses (Lakland, etc) that continues to this day.

In 1983 there was a world of difference in QC and weight between the standard basses and the vintage reissues both USA made

    Chalk and cheese

    Here is an 80’s catalogue

The good guys are the vintage reissues and the Japanese basses

It was the quality of the latter that embarrassed fender USA about the quality lacking in much of its late 70’s basses

I’ve been watching a couple of interviews with Roger recently and he said that he started building basses that sounded like ‘Fenders on steroids’ and he reckoned that the big difference was the original Sadowsky preamp. Remember that he first made his name modding Fenders and that at this time, you couldn’t get booked for a session in New York unless you turned up to the studio with a bass that looked and sounded like a Fender. The same is possibly true to an extent today; a Fender jazz or P still seems to be the reference sound for many producers.

Also, the QC at Fender was very hit and miss in that period. The higher production standards and innovations that Sadowsky introduced must have made a big difference.

Surely the big change was when Bill Shultz bought Fender from CBS and went back to basics with the American vintage reissue series. Getting rid of bullet trusses, sloppy three bolt necks, three screw bridges and heavy unseasoned woods

Those Fullerton 1982 to 1986 reissues were equivalent in quality to later issue custom shop basses

Maybe you had the wrong sadowskys 😉😂

    I had a USA jazz

    2 metro jazzes

    1 metro pj

1 will lee jazz with ultra thin nut

All were well made some with VTC

So you can see I’ve tried a few - your one looks similar to one I had - intact it might even be the same one?

None were great, just equivalent to some Fenders

I have a lovely Fender CS jazz ‘64. I love it but don’t play it that often.
My Status is my Go to.

Ive always wanted a Sadowsky, I like their tone. Nothing more complicated than that.

Of course you should try a sado

I will be interested to hear what you think once you’ve done this

I’ll be interested to see how you think the CS64 and a jazz sado compare

    Good luck
