  1. My Trans-themed MJT-aged Bass arrived. Assembly begins: Allparts neck’s bolted on w/threaded inserts, Seymour Duncan pups are my go-to for most builds. If all goes well I’ll be playing it for the 1st time on the 12th @diyspace4london,

      I would have to sand down that sharp edge to stop it digging in my arm when I played. But I play finger style, if you use a pick you should be ok ;)

      The trans-bass lives and breathes. Wired it up & setup is good, I reckon I can dial in a little closer to the neck over time. It’s a little bright sounding on account of having an insufficient value tone capacitor but that can be sorted easily. It’s so agricultural the pick ups are adjusted for height using a wedge of foam & two screws.
