Hi @hundredsoflegs, I didn't do the work to remove this myself but there is no recess for the bridge on my Aerodyne, it's a later model.

For sale are a set of Fender PJ pickups with mounting screws in very good condition taken from my Japanese Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass. We have a Fender Standard Split Single Coil Precision Bass set along with a Fender Standard Single Coil Jazz Bass Bridge Pickup. These are good sounding, quality pickups, I only changed them because I have a clear idea of what sound I want for this configuration based on having used DiMarzio Model Ps in the past. Up for sale is my Hercules GS405B Shoksafe Bass Stand, a high quality stand in great condition. Due to the length and weight, this is going to be expensive to send folded up - so £32 is the asking price including postage. Anyone who'd like to collect this themselves can have it for £25. Up for sale is my Mexican made Fender Vintera 70s Jazz Bass in 3 colour sunbust that I bought as B stock from Mann's Music in March. The bass (serial number: MX22287391) is in great condition with the exception of a small area of lacquer loss near the strap button (pictured). Looks and sounds great, the pickups have that great bright, slightly compressed 70s Jazz bass sound. The bass comes with a gig bag that Fender describe as 'deluxe', it's really not. Cash on collection would be much preferred as the gig bag included with this bass is distinctly lacking in padding protection and I wouldn't be able to insure this with a courier as there is no hard case. A half way meet up is a very real possibility if you’re in the South East. I’m not interested in trades unless you have a Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass (the original black version without a pickguard).
