  1. Ped you made me go the route of a wingbass too! They are great.
  2. I'm a short scale guy too, with 3 short scale basses, but I have an ACG 32" scale bass which really is a great compromise in scale. The tone is great, and is extremely playable.
  3. Correct - volume and 3 way switch for the Quad coil pickup
  4. Yes it is Rosewood, but I'm sure Marek (Stradi) could provide some information on the wood source to help with the import process.
  5. Still around. PM me, I'm sure we can work out a deal.
  6. I have one of these bad boys, they are so convenient, easy to play and a feel great.
  7. Hi, I'm in Edinburgh but I'm in London a lot. I will message you some clips.
  8. 19.2 inches for the scale length. The overall length is 23.6 inches Easy to travel with in a rucksack.
  9. I have a hard-case from a Spector for £1 (almost free) to anyone who needs it. It's from a Spector Shorty (but fits a regular bass too) and has the Spector name on it. I have a mono bag for my bass and this case is left in Surbiton. If you're interested, its available for collection only.
  10. A reluctant sale but something needs to go. £430.00 or reasonable offer This is a special little bass, ideal for travelling and it really punches above its weight. Standard tuning (EADG), one octave above but with your favourite octave pedal you're into the usual bass sound. It was specially built for me, and the quality is outstanding. 15. I saw that wingbass on your post, I was skeptical but it actually looks really cool.
  16. I believe it should be ready at the end of this month.
  17. Thanks, he just PM'd me which is great because I have just pulled the trigger on a maple Soprano with ash body. Can't wait for it to arrive.
  18. Yep, no working site either,
  19. I don't know how seriously to take a Wing bass - is it a real instrument?
  20. Ideal! but not readily available I suppose.
  21. The marleaux is very pricey that's why I was wondering. I'm not sure about the rubbery strings on the u-bass options. In a nutshell I'm looking for a portable bass that I travel with (on a motorbike) that doesn't have rubber strings. I don't mind using an octave pedal.
