I use a right angled jack with mine, just use the standard locking IEC cable it came with and never had a problem. When it's in use you can put your hand underneath and feel if there is any pressure on the cable and there's barely any which is good enough for me. I can understand not wanting even a slight bit of pressure with a jack or XLR cable as they are more prone to breaking but with an IEC lead it's overthinking things a little.

Hmmm there is more than ‘barely any’ when I do the same check on mine but that may be because it’s on a pile carpet, I will check on a hard floor...

...no, you’re right, not enough pressure to worry about, thanks for this. I have angled jacks and now I’m happily looking at angled XLRs.

A bit odd as my favourites were played originally by  the great Stuart Morrow but Nelson does a fantastic job and this is a fantastic live album.

God this brings back memories of seeing New Model Army for the first time at Klub Foot at the Clarendon Hotel in Hammersmith, the one and only time I saw them with Stuart Morrow who was amazing.

Well my first thought on powering it up was that I may have got a dud as there was a lot of distortion when playing an open G. It took me a while to work out that it was actually the contents of my house vibrating 😛

I've had a play with it in the house but I am trying to find a rehearsal room with a free hour slot available tomorrow as I need some time to get to grips with it before I gig on 31st

I only have one concern which is that when it is sitting in the monitor position, the power and instrument cables and slightly squashed against the ground. I'll probably invest in a right angled power cable

I found exactly the same with the leads, even the mains lead it is supplied with is squished when the unit is in angled monitor position. I need the right angled power lead too!

My one has just been delivered and the tote bag was included so I'd definitely chase it up. There's a chance that they simply didn't have any in stock but it would have been nice of them to tell you when you could expect it.

PMT are on the QSC website as an official dealer so there shouldn't be any problem getting it - if not contact QSC on their Facebook page, they respond pretty quickly

I think it was because I asked them to get it in just to try out I’m sure it’ll arrive soon enough. In the meantime I’ve ordered a cover from HotCovers anyway.

The standard Fender Strat style trem is is an intrinsically flawed design.

^ This. The luthier who sets up my guitars says he very rarely receives a Strat which I set up correctly.

That's the impression that I get, but I've never sat in a room with the three of them together...

I think this is exactly what you should do. I was going to do this but I went in before the K10.2 had arrived, I just tried the 12.2 and liked it so much I bought it. The RCFs were there as well but I didn’t dare try them simply because I find them so ugly, if they had sounded great I would have a dilemma on my hands and a dilemma I do not need. I play in an acoustic duo so I imagine the K10.2 would have been ample for my needs and the 12 overkill really, but you never know when you’ll end up in a dub/thrash outfit now do you?
